On a happier note, my copy of Gothic Classic arrived much sooner than I expected. No issues with the THQ Nordic store. It's an EU/publisher store exclusive but the process was way less of a horror story than I've heard about places like the NIS or Square stores.

Long time no see, post where I review Pokemon Scarlet. I have another Switch review for you, though this one is more for the sake of completion. I plugged in 8Doors: Arum's Afterlife Adventure today, which is a game I purchased new, online, from Gamestop expecting to have a sealed copy that would hopefully go up in value. Thank you for sending me an unsealed copy, Gamestop. I did play it for approximately 20 minutes and it seems fine, but not the type of game I really want to waste much time playing. Its a Dead Cells-like with a Korean Underworld ascetic, seems like it really just gets by on its graphics. 1 out of 2. Now its on to Frog Island.

Nintendo has released a five-minute overview for Super Mario RPG, its upcoming remake of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System RPG Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Super Mario RPG is due out for Switch on November 17 worldwide.

Again 3H is not a bad game per se, I still enjoyed my run in church mommy route. But be wary to not use that entry as a reference for any other Fire Emblem title you plan to play in the future, regardless you ultimately enjoy it or not.

I wasn't a fan of encountering monster units in 3H and their armor gimmick, and having to babysit ally NPCs (like in the story level where you have to purge a bandit hideout with the help of Gilbert) gave me Vietnam flashbacks of Super Robot Wars A Portable on PSP/Vita. 3H is also the sole FE game in my knowledge that misses the weapon triangle system too.
I will say I do enjoy it. Played a lot more yesterday, onto the second part after the monastery fell, and Dimitri is dark now. I can kind of see what you mean by weapon triangle, the weapon system is pretty basic. Still, it's fun, and good enough that I want to try other entries in the future

Right, but Nintendo also own 51 percent of Creatures, so even there they unofficially have a majority say in the IP.
Don't know what caused you to believe that. Creatures is not majority owned by Nintendo. Nintendo (and The Pokémon Company) has some minority, undisclosed stake in Genius Sonority, the developer behind many Pokémon spinoffs, such as Pokémon Colosseum, but they don't own any part of Creatures. Both Creatures and Game Freak are independent.

Right, sorry, former Nintendo President Hiroshi Yamauchi was the majority shareholder, not Nintendo itself. Sorry.

Nintendo Records Biggest Q1+2 Sales Figures Since Switch Launch

Comprising sales from hardware, software and other "mobile, IP related income" like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, apps and the like, Nintendo's ¥796.2 billion sales from Q1-Q2 this fiscal year have trumped all other first-half earnings from the Switch's lifetime — which, when you consider that this console is knocking on its seventh anniversary, isn't bad going.
approximately $5.3 billion for us 'Muricans, or €4.96 billion for you Europoors.
With all eyes on Nintendo for the announcement of its next-generation console, sales of the Switch were up even as it neared seven years old. Nintendo sold 6.84 million Switch units during the six-month period, an increase of 2.4% year-on-year. The more expensive OLED model is the most popular option with 4.69 million units sold, followed by the standard Switch with 1.25 million units sold, then the Switch Lite at 900,000 units sold. This puts Nintendo Switch sales at 132.46 million overall.

>Pokémon Scarlet and Violet sold upwards of 23million units, almost matching Sword and Shield's numbers (from the 4+ years it's been on store shelves) within less than a year
Just kill me now man
This series is so fucked

Two questions guys

One -- Is there a good way to browse the eshop on PC? Browsing on Switch it'll load up so much then stop loading (plus I hate how when you order it by price its kinda borked--I'll get a lot of $1.99 games then there will be one five cent game just in the middle somewhere).

Second question -- name some good horror games? Or at least interesting ones that might be worth a spin? Try to avoid major franchise stuff like Outlast, Amnesia, and Resident Evil because I already know about those (also I don't like zombie games so don't even, unless they have like a really interesting gimmick).

the nintendo website lets you buy digital games and it'll push them to your switch

It's been years since I have played it, but doesn't the weapons triangle kind of materialise when you play it on Hard Mode? Like towards the middle, all the Sword enemies have Axe Breaker and so on.

1) dekudeals.com 2) Splatterhouse

Not really, Hard is mainly just buffed stats without any skills for the regular enemies

Just giving a fair warning that the first Yomawari game might come off as frustrating due of some parts requiring precise timing and zigzag-ins to escape ghosts (especially in the factory and the stairs alley before the final boss). It's still a enjoyable game regardless it heavily leans on trial-and-error but the sequels do improve on the formula.

Also the Switch version of Signalis should soon get the new update that give some QoL options such as item modules not taking up the space, among other things.
There are Death Mark and Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water that I would also recommend on the Nintendo Switch as horror titles
I have been hearing things about World of Horror, looking forward to try out that one in the future.
