I have a wired Hori controller that I bought when I bought my Switch. Works like a charm. I never use the joycons when playing on my tv.I have a Taiko Tatsujin drum (from Horii) and the Densha de Go! handle controller (from Zuiki) which are both imported japanese products working fine on my system. Granted they're both usb-wired but region shouldn't be an issue whatsoever.
Good trolling bruvFuck modders and sue them into the dirt.
You sure it's genuine? I tried getting one from CEX and it looked super convincing until I tried it out, realised the rumble felt atrocious and Amiibo support just didn't work. Fakes can look pretty fucking legit at times.I am having a bit of trouble currently, so maybe you guys can help.
Recently, I went out and got the special pro controller for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It shipped from Japan and all looks good. So I tried to hook it up, and the thing is being a total bitch about it. It struggles to pair, refuses to update, and the rumble was atrocious when playing Mario Kart.
I did get it to work, and it can be a decent controller, but even still, no updates and you cannot turn on the Switch by pressing home.
Is there issues between regions with controllers, or is the controller just a piece of shit? I am hoping it is the ladder as I have a Splatoon one coming too, so I would hate to waste money on two non-functioning controllers when a region free system should be fine with it.
I tried to ask about it on the Switch Reddit, but no technical questions allowed because you cannot discuss or something. There are tons of issues threads from that very Reddit you can find on Google, but I guess they are now banning it.
That's what happens when you take a highly anticipated game and make the special edition exclusive to the storefront of a company that still can't figure out basic online functionality that every other console manufacturer had 10 years ago because they were too stupid to see the blindingly obvious trajectory that "consoles are going to go online".Xenoblade 3 Special Edition preorders are apparently live and crashing Nintendo’s site. Also, the goodies are apparently shipping seperately at a later date.
Garbage game. Not buying it.things lost in translation (like Petra's inability to speak in a natural flow
MadCatz taught me not to ever buy third party anything.Since there's controller talk: For anyone that cares, 8bitdo currently has a promotion for 15% off their Pro2 controller on Amazon. Use 15PRO2 during checkout. Comes out to $46 total for me. Ends midnight pacific.

It wasn't that they couldn't see it. They could. They simply rejected it and tried to flow against the current because it wasn't something that Nintendo invented and wanted to push. We all see how that worked out. That's what happens when you take a highly anticipated game and make the special edition exclusive to the storefront of a company that still can't figure out basic online functionality that every other console manufacturer had 10 years ago because they were too stupid to see the blindingly obvious trajectory that "consoles are going to go online".
They actually had "okay for the time" service on Wii U and then regressed for Switch. And the regression was a success, so any lessons they learned then have since been deliberately unlearned. It wasn't that they couldn't see it. They could. Hori accessories are generally of good quality, although the running gag is that the company still can't into bluetoothI have a wired Hori controller that I bought when I bought my Switch. Works like a charm. I never use the joycons when playing on my tv.
Can confirm, the Pro 2 is a pretty great controller and there's some cheapo USB adapters that support them across different consoles, so you can use a Pro 2 with PlayStations and Xboxes alongside doubling as a Switch Pro controller and a PC controller.“Buying from a bad third party in the 2000s taught me to never buy from a good third party today”
You’re missing out, 8bitdo is great. I just wish controllers in general weren’t so expensive now; but I guess that’s what happens when everything becomes wireless.
PowerA's later releases after their initial lineup's been pretty consistent at being replacements for the official Switch Pro controller though.Don't buy those cheap looking "official" third party Switch controllers. You know, the garish ones with gold tri-forces on them and such. I got one for twenty dollars and it sucked, I had to buy an official pro-controller afterwards.
So like any other beat-em up, then?According to the game's description, enemy groups scale in size based on the number of players.
It is made by the same people who made Streets of Rage 4.So like any other beat-em up, then?
Otherwise the Streets of Rage series did this as well.
That explains the wall bouncing after you hit an enemy. It is made by the same people who made Streets of Rage 4.
