Ok i have been too busy to watch it but

Fire Emblem Musou Sequel - Great. Still need to finish first one.
Earthbound Online- Ew fuck no. I want to actually keep it forever. Disappointed.
Chrono Cross Remaster - Great
Xenoblade 3?
Mario Kart Expansion Pass (?)

oh if it's 25 bucks per wave, nevermind on the not raping your wallet part

For real, I have to wonder what the hell happened to Retro Studios since Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.

It's been over 7 years since they released a new game, and 3 since MP4 got handed to them. Why are they stalling like this?

Something something pandemic, something something can't release before botw2 something something saving it for Switch 2

For me the best announcement was the Live A Live Remake, will likely pick up on PC:
I'm pretty sure it's $25 per Wave. so $125 for 48 new courses over 2 years. or $60 extra bucks in your subscription and you lose them if you drop it.
No, the pass is 25 dollars with all waves, Nintendo is greedy but not to the point of asking twice the price of the game.
Although I saw some complaints because the courses looks too soulless for looking like direct ports of Mario Kart Tour:
Anyway, Mario Kart 9 only on Switch 2.

Lol Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is clearly censored. Overly modest designs, black characters, feminist themes etc.

I think Larry Fink has gotten to Nintendo at this rate from the looks of things.
mmmmm there we go.

Surprised that was your first worry, and not the fact that the Princesses in Mario Strikers Battle League aren't over sexualised compared to previous titles. I'd drop a mic, but this isn't an open mic night dedicated to roasting people.

Edit: People are saying that the character designs of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 hew closer to those of the first Xenoblade Chronicles game. So is it really censorship, if they're going back to how it was before the fanservice came into full force?

They're going to get beaten with the whore beating stick by the time Mario Kart 9 rolls around and they'll be wearing utilitarian speed suits that allow for no discernable body curves.

Wasn't expecting a Chrono Cross remaster with Radical Dreams.

MLB The Show Edit: Has any other Nintendo Switch game had online cross play yet?
Rocket League and Fortnite can, although Fortnite got sent to the mobile version rather than PS4/XB1/PC. Apex Legends does too. Wargroove could at least load maps and campaigns made on PC, but I'm not sure if it was full cross play. Most big multiplayer games don't come to Switch anyway, so cross play is kind of thin.

It's $25 for all 6 waves. Nintendo never sells their DLCs separately. Considering it's $25 for 2x 3x the content of the MK8 DLC pass on Wii U, it's not a bad deal even if it's 100% track remakes. I hope they'd at least be willing to consider more F-Zero tracks, but at least MK Tour tracks will be in a proper game now.
I've never played Earthbound. Is it as good as everyone says it is?
One of my friends loved Earthbound while finding most JRPGs boring. Even if you don't care for the genre it might be worth a shot if you already have the online service anyway.

I was worried about Advance Wars 1+2 when they announced it, especially worried when it got quietly delayed in December, and am now a lot less worried. It shows infinitely more life than it did 6 months ago, they confirmed online play and the map editor, and everything is fully animated and voiced. Still don't know if I'll spend $60 on it, but it's actually back on my radar now.

This was honestly a pretty good direct overall. MK8 and Advance Wars surprised me, new Kirby info, and Wii Sports returning are all quality.
