Not bad, I'm glad that they're adding that MK8 course pass to the Expansion Pass at no additional cost. Makes it an easier pill to swallow, and can be a sign of additional DLC being added over time. Kinda sucks that it looks like they're not making Mario Kart 9, but 48 remade courses is some good value there.

Can't believe it took this long to add Earthbound to the SNES service, now I just gotta wait for Super Mario RPG (if it ever comes...).

Imo Nintendos is going to have a rough year. Im Excited for xenoblade 3 all the way in September. Zelda still mia

lol, that was like a 2/10. I don't know why I bother watching directs.

I'm glad Live A Live is being acknowledged, but 90% of that direct was remakes... fuck remakes. I want something new.

I've never played Earthbound. Is it as good as everyone says it is?
I loved, and still love, the series and I hold the trilogy in high regard but if you go in with the reputation it garnered while playing it you might be disapointed
Hey look, Mother fans are still unsatisfied. WHAT A SHOCK.
IDK I view a treehouse'd edition of 3 not existing as a win, plus if it gets people to try mother 1 out its good in my book

I have no idea why the SNES online lineup is so bad, the fact that jellyboy was the last game added to the service before is laughable. Say what you will about emulation quality but the N64 and NES are leagues above it

Lmao, they used the inferior Wii version of "The Force Unleashed" as the Switch port.
I noticed that, the Switch is more than capable of handling the 360/PS3 version. I guess Aspyr felt like being cheapskates here.

They should've ported over KOTOR 2 instead, or the likes of Bounty Hunter or the Rogue Squadron/Battle for Naboo games.

Not much in there that I really cared about, but the Mario Kart dlc is appealing. I'll pick that game up every few months and play the shit out of it for a couple weeks, and that's a shit load of additional replay potential right there, even if they are nostalgia courses.

Maybe I'll give Live a Live a shot. I wasn't really digging it much when I first tried it awhile back, but it has such a passionate fanbase that I'd really like to give it a deeper look.

Xenoblade 3 and Front Mission remakes. Live A Live was a nice suprise. Things I actually wanna play got announced, so I'd give this one a pass.

I hope Square brings over Bahamut Lagoon, I played that on my SNES and I thought that was the superior game in comparison to all their non-english stuff.

I'm kinda happy about No Man's Sky releasing on the Switch. I saw nothing at all about it being cloud gaming (get fucked fags at Square that think I'm falling for that shit with Kingdom Hearts.) I have another 500gb to fill on my MicroSD card so I'll keep an eye out and see how it performs when it drops.

Direct was pretty cool, I got interested in:
-Xenoblade 3
-Portal Collection
-Taiko no Tatsujin Festival
-Kirby Discovery
-Klonoa remake 1&2
-The Centennial Case (japanese mystery/murder FMV game)
Advance Wars remake might be cool but I still have some doubts.

What censorship? I will if its there. I didn't like the admittedly minor censorship in 2 (or the obnoxious character renamings.)
People shouldn't bother replying to him frankly, he's the sony fanboy who tries to defend censorship at every opportunity (especially on games he personally dislikes) and the Culture War thread is proof of that. The whole topic of censorship makes him upset because it's been the main criticism against Sony for a few years since then.

I've got a soft spot for 2.5D platformers, so I'm looking forward to Klonoa. Never played it back in the day

No Metroid Prime, instead we get journo mode for Dread proxy-image.png

I give it a 5.5 out of 10.
Above average but just barely.

Also I don't really play xenoblade is it any good? It just kinda looked a bit generic to me.

It's an OK dragon quest knockoff with funny humour.
You need to play it to get a lot of the callbacks in Mother 3 which is one of the best RPGs of all time.

I'm pretty sure it's $25 per Wave. so $125 for 48 new courses over 2 years. or $60 extra bucks in your subscription and you lose them if you drop it.
I'm glad the courses from tour are finally in a game that isn't mobile garbage, but not $125 happy
There was an Excitebike game with Mario characters, an f-zero sequel, and a fire emblem game.
I thought that fzero got a time trial mode, still glad any of this stuff got archived because the satellaview was such a weird direction for game distribution to go in as was the sega channel

Good series but the game looked like a mix of 1 and 2 which is intentional for plot reasons
