Not bad, I'm glad that they're adding that MK8 course pass to the Expansion Pass at no additional cost. Makes it an easier pill to swallow, and can be a sign of additional DLC being added over time. Kinda sucks that it looks like they're not making Mario Kart 9, but 48 remade courses is some good value there.
Can't believe it took this long to add Earthbound to the SNES service, now I just gotta wait for Super Mario RPG (if it ever comes...).
I loved, and still love, the series and I hold the trilogy in high regard but if you go in with the reputation it garnered while playing it you might be disapointed
I have no idea why the SNES online lineup is so bad, the fact that jellyboy was the last game added to the service before is laughable. Say what you will about emulation quality but the N64 and NES are leagues above it
Not much in there that I really cared about, but the Mario Kart dlc is appealing. I'll pick that game up every few months and play the shit out of it for a couple weeks, and that's a shit load of additional replay potential right there, even if they are nostalgia courses.
Maybe I'll give Live a Live a shot. I wasn't really digging it much when I first tried it awhile back, but it has such a passionate fanbase that I'd really like to give it a deeper look.
I hope Square brings over Bahamut Lagoon, I played that on my SNES and I thought that was the superior game in comparison to all their non-english stuff.
I'm kinda happy about No Man's Sky releasing on the Switch. I saw nothing at all about it being cloud gaming (get fucked fags at Square that think I'm falling for that shit with Kingdom Hearts.) I have another 500gb to fill on my MicroSD card so I'll keep an eye out and see how it performs when it drops.
Direct was pretty cool, I got interested in:
-Xenoblade 3
-Portal Collection
-Taiko no Tatsujin Festival
-Kirby Discovery
-Klonoa remake 1&2
-The Centennial Case (japanese mystery/murder FMV game)
Advance Wars remake might be cool but I still have some doubts.
People shouldn't bother replying to him frankly, he's the sony fanboy who tries to defend censorship at every opportunity (especially on games he personally dislikes) and the Culture War thread is proof of that. The whole topic of censorship makes him upset because it's been the main criticism against Sony for a few years since then.
It's an OK dragon quest knockoff with funny humour.
You need to play it to get a lot of the callbacks in Mother 3 which is one of the best RPGs of all time.
I thought that fzero got a time trial mode, still glad any of this stuff got archived because the satellaview was such a weird direction for game distribution to go in as was the sega channel
