I doubt you ever played Labyrinth of Galleria because it's still a japanese-only game (regardless of the platform) and you don't read moonrunes anyway.

Asatsugutori is a visual novel. It can be done and over with in around 15 minutes.

As I said it's a game that can be beaten in 15 minutes.

Neither of the Labyrinth games are text heavy.

They're all about boosting stats and you need to read how the inheritance formula works because taking shit at face value fucks you over in both.

I just realized Metroid Dread comes out in a week. I also just remembered that I was able to snag an LE from Best Buy before scalpers got them all. I chose in-store pickup and the order page still says:

We'll let you know when it's ready. A release date for your pre-order has not been announced. We'll let you know when it's ready.

Fully expecting an email on Friday saying they had to cancel the order.
Tick-tock Best Buy. Five days left. Don't let me down.

So basically Life is Strange: The Anime Adaptation? No, what am I saying, that game looks infinitely better than Life is HELLA Woke.

No that's incorrect, there was a fucking load of bullshit controller evolutions in the 90's

Duashock brought out both analog sticks and all that others could do was swap them with the D-pad position. The Dreamcast controller came later and that was another literation of the Saturn 3d controller layout and that whole design philosophy failed.
I don't know how it failed in terms of design philosophy when the Xbox controller is based off of the Dreamcast and Saturn controller just made smaller and with different button placement.

Uh oh? New metroid is bad?
People are freaking out because the game file size is less than Hollow Knight. It's very preemptive to judge it on something like that. It's a full 60 dollar game so I'm expecting people to be harsh on it because metroidvanias have been done a ton on indies but they're not asking AAA prices.

The copies out in the wild look fantastic. It definitely won’t be a very long game though, like most 2D Metroid games. 12 hours max, probably half that on replay.
A pity Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania turned out to be another blunder from Sega though, with the altered physics on Unity and Monkey Target getting the short stick. I was looking forward to it but glad I dodged a bullet there.
I’m having a blast with it. Monkey target is completely fucked though.

It's absolutely retarded to judge a game by its filesize as a criteria of content and quality, just because of the average gamer these days are used to the bloated space requirements and the lack of optimization from devs. Rabi-Ribi (since that's a metroidvania too) was less than 1GB and this game took me over 30hours for just one playthrough.

I could be fine with the different physics (since it's been a loooong time I've played SMB) but until Monkey Target gets updated and Sega brings back lives for Challenge Mode, I'm not really touching it yet.

The thing is with Rabi Ribi though is that, that game was made with specifically speedrunners in mind which is why it had stuff for a 0% run, a boss rush mode. and beating the game in under an hour. They even include "sequence breaking" as part of the proper means of beating the game. I mean sequence breaking is usually stuff that developers don't intend for players to do but if they're in the game itself as the intended method then it's not really sequence breaking.

Metroid never really went to such lengths to cater towards something like the twitch crowd or anything like that. Like Fusion you can do a 0% run pretty easily and they do have unique artwork for it for the ending, but it's not going to be Supermeatboy levels of difficulty.

You'd have to be either high or possessing an extra chromosome to think the 360 controller is shit. Unless you're a giga-retard and use a fucking controller for fighting games instead of a fight stick.
OG controller S and onward were great. Only downside on the S were the black and white buttons, but that was the final remnant from the Sega days. I had a 3rd party controller that put them on the shoulders.

Even the Series controller is fine since it isn't filled with a mountain of finicky shit.

Pretty sure the military still uses them, so they're already intended for people who eat crayons.
