I just wish I can figure out how to play Xenoblade Chronicles like I can a Mario game :(

My friend only owns 3 games for his Switch. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey and then this Sunday he went out and bought Super Mario 3D All Stars. He was pretty excited to go out and get it too.

Something about Mario and Collections...the casual normie just can't resist.

Imagine being in your late 20s minimum and still looking for your RPG fix in a series clearly meant for ages 6 to 9.

The fanbase is mostly compromised of children I hope so :optimistic: .. The adult that do dumb catfight.. they are lost cause... Yes it disapointing that the nu paper mario lost most of it soul(the battle system don't count) but paper mario isn't the only JRPG. If I want some interessing story with momorable character I will just play another game

He right you know.. paper mario can still be enjoyable past childhood... pokemon on the other hand.. The only escuse I can understand is they were fan during their childhood and never let go... It fun capturing monster for 5 minute but it get boring real quick

Its probably because its familiar and not going to be a confusing mess to learn, especially when you become older as an adult and too busy or tired to learn new gameplay mechanics. Its like me playing the Mario 3D collection while I get exhausted trying to play Xenoblade Chronicles HD.

In that case, I’ll buy both because I’ve never played a Xenoblade Chronicles game before.
 
I've completely abandoned paying attention to the Smash community. What's left for them to be upset about at this point? They got Ridley, they got K Rool they even got Banjo. They still upset at no Geno?

Geno and Waluigi are the last "meme picks" left honestly. Who aren't even close to the above three.

In fact Geno in particular was completely forgotten during 4, and it was only after the other never-evers got in that suddenly people pushed him back up to his Brawl era of bandwagoning.
 
If it actually honestly turns out to be just Paper Mario as a character than that's pretty cool. A lot of spergs will do their usual rage while I think the potential for Paper Mario is quite fun.

Unless Square has 100% ownership of Sora, I don't see it happening with the likes of Disney involved as well. Dante and Crash have a chance like any other third party character and I don't see Phoenix Wright making it in despite already appearing in Marvel VS Capcom 3.

Disney owns all the Kingdom Hearts characters. Something I don't think the SORA FOR SMASH camp realizes, because there's no way in hell Disney would agree to his usage in Smash.

Disney has an odd relationship with the Kingdom Hearts IP, they own it but they won‘t touch it without Nomura‘s blessing. It’s also worth noting that Disney may still be sour with Nintendo over them going to Universal for their movie and theme park licensing.
 
They should make just make it X from the Mega Man series and make him a clone of Mega Man with slightly different stats so we can all watch the fanbase have a meltdown.
 
Bro, Steve made it in. I am so hyped right now, he was number 1 third-party character

Kinda sad to see the backlash though, especially when he was gaining traction prior to Banjo. All arguments are essentially boiling down to he is boring, no personality, etc.. I have no idea what to say. Fans act like most Smash characters have personality, but outside of a few like Dedede the characters in Smash are overall lifeless husks of their in-game counterparts. Just look at how overly serious Mario is. Steve’s move set looks great and the character will definitely appeal to the Millennial and Zoomer crowd that I know the Smash community hates because they believe Smash is not a kids game. ...Really? I swear, this community.

Here is hoping for Crash though, he would be the last of the characters I genuinely want to see. Maybe we could also get 2B, who knows.

If they did another Mega Man character I'd either want MMZ Zero or some real left field choice like Spark Mandrill
