There has been some discussions on twitter about peoples reactions regarding upcoming nintendo direct

The direct is today, so let's see what shitstorm brews from this

I have no words that there are people even on twitter who are finally realizing that they can't do shit with controversies minus not consuming Nintendo products, yet there are people still in that referred video whom are still acting like they care so much about GilvaGunner's death and want to stick it to "The N" and acting like they're superior to everyone else for it, in spite of the fact that they are on a website that has millions of clone channels that are as replaceable as a cog in a machine.

The last time Nintendo fans were really angry at Nintendo was during the E3 2015 direct, after a weekend of Tournaments and Smash announcements, it finally came the main course:

2 lackluster spin-offs of long-waited games (Federation Force and Amiibo Party), time wasted on Skylander crossovers and the already released Yoshi game, Starfox Zero looking pretty bad and Breath of the Wild was nowhere to be seen. Mario Maker and Muppets skits weren't enough that day, fist time the Nintendo CEO had to publicly apologize for such a lackluster presentation, the bad impressions lasted almost a month until the CEO met his end.

Everything since that was really child's play in comparison, the only 2 things that really came close was the Sword and Shield pre-release controversies in 2019 and the NSO announcements.

While a bit scummy, the takedown of a barely active OST channel and the tournament of a 20 year old game that isn't even available on a current consol doesn't really affect the average Switch owner, so besides a little Twitter sperging you won't see any kind of real revolt from the fanbase anytime soon unless Nintendo manages to do a combo of lackluster announcements like that infamous E3.

Funny enough looking back on the comment section of that presentation almost 7 years later is like the backslash wasn't that bad...

Everyone is hyped about Klonoa and pretending they knew anything about it before 12 hours ago.

It looks okay.

More people should be pretending to know about and be hyped for Front Mission though. It would make me happy.

Don't need to pretend for either and I'm excited about both.

Any actual gamer that doesn't just play casual Triple A shit worth their salt should know what Klonoa and Front Mission are. I even remember LiveALive from gaming mags back in the day.

I can't believe puppet Reggie was 7 years ago. Where does the time go?

That Direct was almost perfection.

The most annoying and hyperautistic sub-fanbase among Nintendo's franchises, are the Paper Mario fans, bunch of hysterical faggots. We get it, You like TTYD because it was your first rpg, shut up.

Make a post somewhere where autists talk about Paper Mario saying Sticker Star was better than TTYD and a great new direction for the series and watch the fireworks.

It's one of those things where the hardcore fans ruin it, because I remember TTYD actually being pretty good when I played it back when it came out. I'd never be able to reply it now because of the fanbase.

TTYD is good, but these guys have elevated it to Golden Calf type of worship, they are militant and preachy and incapable of listening to others.
