It's a shame the Wii U is just kinda shit, it's a neat console in a lot of ways, and a really nice way to play DS games on the TV.
It could have done it in an official capacity if Nintendo wasn't so dead set on trying to arrest people who distribute mods and stuff for their consoles.

You've even had multiple instances of people jailed for distributing hacked pokemon. There's also been times where Nintendo has tried to lure people to them with false job offers by collecting all their info and being investigated without their knowledge for the sole purpose of getting them jailed.

I fucking adore Nintendo when they are in a "go the fuck to jail" kind of mood.

I genuinely have no idea how I still remember this "got milk?” ad. I didn’t get the N64 until 2001 came along, and I didn’t get Super Mario 64 until many years later.

Mid-late 90's had some of the most memorable video game commercials, but especially Nintendo. I think SSB is possibly the most memorable of all.

They've finally come for the puppetman. He's committed heresy for speaking out against low effort trash.
It's nice to hear that someone else out there had the same sense about Pokémon Diamond & Pearl as I did. It was very boring, indeed, and I got close to the end, but never actually beat the Elite Four because I just didn't care. And that was the last time I seriously tried to play a mainline Pokémon game.

I got excited. I thought Nintendo was suing Arlo.
Sadly no, but probably something will happen in the future because even sites like Gematsu are having to crackdown on the Nintendo Circlejerks, so overreach by their retardation is a given at this point. Everything is being fueled by the gay discord drama stemming from grown ass women being nostalgic for back when they were little boys.

Persona 4 Golden and Mystical Ninja 64 would be so perfect for Switch. And Earthbound.

Unfortunately I think the latter two will be online only shit. I heard rumors Altus is trying to port P4G which is good since I never played it (I don't play games on my laptop so....no Steam. Its just how I am lol)

I'll be wary of rumors personally, but Atlus is already about to release 13 Sentinels on Switch so hopefully more Vanillaware game will come on the system. Muramasa Rebirth in particular does deserve to be ported elsewhere than simply be buried with the tragic PS Vita. There is also that upcoming port of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax this March.

But I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a P4G port or even a new mainline Persona game coming on Switch (either as a multiplatform with PS4 or maybe as an exclusive) considering the downfall and the rather bleak future of the Playstation brand in Japan

Same, except I managed to get to the elite four. Excluding Cynthia raping you with her Pokemon, there really isn't much I remember about it.
  • There was this one cave that had wild Steelix... that was pretty awesome.
  • The underground was fun
  • Team Galactica's battle theme is pretty dope.
  • Giratina's alt form is badass
That's the only positives i can give to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

Try out elite four if you still own the game. They are pretty ok with EVs and IVs and good movesets even with the forced EXP share.
It's kind of an revolutionary act by ILCA as well as Platinum encounters in the Grand Underground, put into the game last minute to do at least some fanservice. They were heavily restricted by Gamefreak to keep the remakes fAiThFuL aka low effort.

If you like this kind of content, I highly recommend giving this guy a try

He is critical and also does very good research on his videos. He's like Arlo with an extra bit of gallows humor and cynicism.

So hey, this game looks pretty good. Yacht Club Games did a great job with Shovel Knight and I'm glad they are doing something else.

But uh... some of those sprites and textures look an awful lot like stuff from Zelda. They don't look "inspired by", they look exactly the fucking same.

Yacht Club Games is pretty much turning Kickstarter into glorified pre-orders:

What even are these stretch goals?

Not even Playtonic went this route to make their Yooka-laylee spin-off.

I am extremely disappointed that Nintendo was not behind the ~3,500 copyright flags and ultimate destruction of GilvaSunner's channel. Instead it was some rando. Nintendo deserved that scalp.

I feel like more people heard about the story of Nintendo striking down an innocent channel than the reveal that it was some rando with too much time on his hands. I'd say their reputation took a blow but knowing the internet that'll quickly wear off again anyway

500 grand for a sound test how exciting! I hope they hit the controller remap and brightness adjust stretch goals.
I had to do a double-take to see if my eyes were fucking with me, but nope, there it is as clear as day.

How much of a fucking kike can you be to make people shell out sheckles for you to add something that was given immediately to you in almost every fucking Sega Genesis and SNES game? This is like a new fucking low.
The hell did they do with all the shovel knight money?
Blow and prostitutes. Otherwise they are keeping that shit to themselves and not using it as a budget for this game.
