He was made by a muppet fan, and I think he used actual spare muppet parts that he brought from Seasame Workshop (they actually have tons of off-the shelf parts and default body types.) Sadly, like a lot of Nintendo commentators, he's gradually lost the plot over the years and just goes on to make the same fucking video talking about Pikmin/Paper Mario/*insert Gamecube game here* over and over again. He also hardly even shows the puppet anymore since its easier to just do the voice without it and then insert that over purchased game footage.

Because an normal white guy bitching about what's wrong with the industry doesn't bring in the views, anymore.
It reflects poorly upon nintendo fans when a man faggot with arrested development has to jiggle a puppet in front of them to get their attention. I know there's some fine folks who bring up interesting points with their video discourse, but they can't offset how disingenuous and obliviously condescending this suffocated elmo is.
So with the way Nintendo has been handling the Advance Wars remakes, I guess this means the chances of a Battalion Wars 1+2 remaster/HD port is out of the question? Had fun with the second one back in the day, would like to see it get an HD port or remake.
Possibly, but not because of the anti-Ivan propaganda the world is experiencing right now. Nintendo is very hesitant to port 3D titles, period, unless its a guaranteed sell such as the HD versions of the Zelda duo or bringing major titles over from the wii u and treating them like they are new releases. I mean fuck, how old are those Metroid Prime rumors now?

Well, it's not exclusive to Nintendo; Sega actually had the balls to cash in on the vtubing trend.

But at any rate, the bar for being an fan of just about anything is pretty low, nowadays

That guy is just abhorrent. He cashed in at the end of the Wii U era when Nintendo fans needed a positive outlook and he provided that. Now he just became a contrarian IMO that's an idiot.

I can't stomach him for more than a second but considering how shallow all contrarians are I can only imagine the shit he's spewing. Any particular zingers from elmo's closeted cousin?

Bayonetta 3 and Sonic Frontiers will honestly be the best Black Friday pickups to get since I have not played my Switch in more than a few years. Between these two and the Mario and Rabbids sequel, I will say that it could be a nice time for kids to buy a Switch to play those games if they want to.

If anything, it reminds me of the time when ARMS came out.

Sonic Frontiers has awful PS1-era pop in. For an open world game that relies on obstacle courses, you honestly can't see what's a few hundred feet in front of you. I think a few people said that the Switch version was made specifically for the system and then ported to everything else, it just looks and plays bad on any other type of hardware.

It sounds like we won't be having to deal with the switch much longer though, there's been job listings for next gen nintendo game development we probably have around 4-6 months before they make an announcement. With switch sales slowing down that's another sign that Nintendo is getting ready for a new thing, the NVidia leaks point at a board with some level of 4k capacity, so it's going to be a whole new system and not some rebranded revision.

There’s no way Switch was the base version, it has the worst pop-in of any game I’ve ever seen. You can walk a few yards away from a boss and watch it disappear.

consitering how Sonic has always sold best on Nintendo consoles (minus Wii U since that was the outlier that punished Sega financially for trying to lock themselves to that exclusivity deal and trying to make Sonic Boom a thing during that exclusivity deal), I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out it was built to work on switch first and other consoles and PC later to try to chase Nintendo Fans.

I'd agree with you if we were talking about the GameCube. At the time it was the only way to play the Adventure games since the Dreamcast didn't do too well (even though those ports have major issues), and it had the better version of Sonic Heroes.

From the Wii on, it's been downhill. Sonic Unleashed on the Wii (and PS2) was a watered down version of the PS3/360 versions, the DS/3DS games were mild at best, still being created by DIMPS so they shared the same issues the GBA games had regarding retarded level design. And Sonic Boom on the WiiU is just a laughing stock due to how buggy it is thanks to SEGA fucking everything up for Big Red Button. Everything else has been either lukewarm (Sonic Lost World WiiU) or DOA due to SEGA's retarded decisions (Sonic Book games on Wii using waggle controls and Lost World 3DS using tilt controls)

Right, but the person you were talking to was talking about sales, not quality.

Sonic Advance had pretty good level design up until Angel Island Zone where 90% of the level is a pit. Sonic Colors DS is good too.

I haven't played the originals but aren't the antagonists wascally wussians?
I haven't played since release, but if my memory is right it starts off with various nations each with their own theme fighting each other, only for a third act reveal that a secret evil nation led by Darth Vader "Black Hole" was pulling the strings so that everyone would be weak after fighting each other, so all the nations come together to repel him.

The second game is just Black Hole invades, the good guys fight him off.

Any particular zingers from elmo's closeted cousin?
I skimmed the video, and there was a sincere "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism".
