If people actually cared about the suffering caused by the execution we'd still be doing beheadings and long drop hanging. What they actually care about is having a pretty corpse, even if they'll never see it. Lethal injection has more potential points of failure than maybe any other method.
 
I'd like public hanging to make a comeback. I wanna see this little faggot swing. And no, not the long drop one.
 
The guy is a kid killer who got tagged as a pedophile at the last second. The death penalty would be mercy compared to his life in prison starting at such a young age.
 
Whats even the point of being a death penalty state if you are not gonna use it on the faggot that massacres 17 people for no reason.

I think it's pretty obvious this retard perjured herself when asked if she had a moral opposition to the death penalty.

I wonder if there's going to be some penalty for this. Punishing members of the jury is a really bad idea, generally.
 
I can't blame the hold out. There's dozens of reasons to not support the death penalty and a handful of them are really valid. I'd be happy to see him killed, just not at the hands of the state. Put him in a situation where his community has an opportunity to kill him and im happy to look the other way.
 
I'm watching the victim impact statements and I know this is fucked up since I know they're grieving and it's (hopefully) the worst thing they'll ever have to experience, but those Guttenberg parents are fucking insufferable (the father, Fred, in particular.) I can only imagine how embarrassed their daughter would be to watch him.
