Two minutes into this video and all I can say is that this is fucked up.

If you played the audio without any context, people would start to wonder whether this was an actual piece of court testimony or if someone leaked a scene from Clerks III.


Either way, I hope Cruz gets the death penalty.

Honestly I am surprised this trial is happening now, then again the American judicial system from what I recall is slow as fuck and the prosecution can take their own time on their own terms (unless I'm wrong). Cannot wait for him to sperg out in the court at some stage.

Also, who is the queen in the gallery that the camera keeps cutting to? He's making the most ridiculous faces.

We have a constitutional right to a speedy trial, but you can wave that right. It's not uncommon for people to do that.

From what I can gather, and I might be totally wrong, I think those are the family members of people who died. The faces are the same on different days so they are invested in this somehow. Also, when the real grim shit comes out, quite a few of them tear up and start crying, as you would expect. But yeah, that fellow is a little strange.


He's been trying shit like pleading insanity just to avoid the death penalty. He's scared as shit of it and will do anything to get life. Just put him on the chair.

IIRC, when he first got captured and pinned down by a cop he had it all worked out saying he was hearing voices and playing the I'm schizo card. Obviously he's not psychotic at all, just highly fucking autistic. The fact he tried playing that card shows a certain cunning and has been noted. Pyschiatry is a lot of bullshit a lot of the time, but it's advanced enough to know when someone is having a break with reality.

Then again I think it would be very hard for anyone to take full responsibility for an act like that, so it's an easy coward's way out. Let him fry, let him live in hell. I don't care. His life is over whatever happens.

But you are right, he is scared of death. It's rare for a school shooter/mass murderer to not sudoku themselves in the event they don't get taken out by cops. He's kind of a rare specimen, in more ways than one. If he didn't fear death he would have offed himself after the act.

So this shithead could have been rich and fucking prostitutes by now if he'd just behaved himself for five years. Instead, all of that money will go to a lawyer or be given to his victims in a civil suit. How bad a fuckup do you have to be when literally doing nothing would have made you a success, and you throw it all away so you can LARP as the "pumped up kicks" song kid?

Twilight Zone level twist. I would give him the life in prison he desires if he outright donated the money to the victims charities instead of feeding the money to greedy scum fuck lawyers deplorable enough to represent him. He'd probably get to donate the full 820k if he did that, instead of having it taxes to pieces.

The dude is so repulsive in every way, even his appointed defense attorneys were disgusted by him. They believed no argument they made, and it read vibrantly. Two of his representatives were BAWLING during one of the parent's absolute insane testimony. (Summed up, the brother of the victim, a 14 year old girl, hates his father because his father told him to run instead of going to save his sister. The father gave that testimony.)
