Remember, if you will, about 15-20 years ago when people were getting pissed off about harmless shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy? Well, there's still one website which hasn't grown out of that.

Welcome to Newsbusters, where their motto is "Exposing and combatting liberal media bias". Yeah, that's right, fight a bias with another one, makes perfect sense.

As you'd expect, they write articles as biased as FOX News, but that's not all. They also spend a lot of time bitching about harmless jokes from TV shows. One popular target seems to be the aforementioned Family Guy:

I'm not sure this is lolcow-worthy, just a good chuckle from idiocy, but I'll stay tuned.

Yeah, they aren't on the same level as someone like Chris or ADF, but many of their articles are unintentionally hilarious. Nearly all of them somehow devolve into blaming liberals for all of America's problems.

It's pretty funny that these conservatives are even more sensitive than liberals are often claimed of being.

They've actually tried the "oh they're just jealous" argument, despite Seth MacFarlane/ a lot of the Family Guy cast and crew choosing to be atheist.

If he's a birther you probably wouldn't have to read too many of his posts for him to flat out start birthing.

Most of those types are so obsessive they can't go long without ranting about it. It's sort of like the joke about "How do you tell if someone is vegan?"

Oh yeah, it's one of the biggest double standards ever.

Newsbusters' mentality is if a liberal screws up, well all liberals suck and are ruining America. If a conservative screws up, it's not really that bad and liberal media is making a big deal out of it.

Yeah, ratings seem to be the only thing indicating success on the Conservative side of things.

When somebody points out that Bill O'Reilly effectively lied or was wrong on his show, they simply say that he must be doing something right because look at the ratings!

And yet it's been shown that the people who watched The Daily Show and Colbert Report were better informed as to world affairs than anybody else. Ratings be damned.
 
I'm pretty sure newsbusters was founded by the same screwball as the parents television council
which should tell you something right away.

The Conservative rating thing is mostly because of pure options. There are far more left leaning news organizations on TV than right, because of that, even though America is rather split down the middle, Fox will pull the biggest ratings because they aren't competing with anyone while CNN, MSNBC, NBC, etc all compete for the leftist viewership. Both still compete for the moderate viewership mind you.
