Oh I'm aware of that, but those that use this argument seemingly aren't.The Conservative rating thing is mostly because of pure options. There are far more left leaning news organizations on TV than right, because of that, even though America is rather split down the middle, Fox will pull the biggest ratings because they aren't competing with anyone while CNN, MSNBC, NBC, etc all compete for the leftist viewership. Both still compete for the moderate viewership mind you.
These are the same people that unironically call Faux Noise "fair and balanced" but don't understand what that means. To be fair and balanced means to present both sides of the story and not editorialize on either one. In other words, here's what the left say, here's what the right say, please make up your minds on the matter. I'm no fan of the mainstream media but I'm even less a fan of Faux Noise and these other far right soundboards. If they were honest and said, "yeah, we're not pretending that we're not partisan. We're totally in the can for the right" then I'd actually give them props for admitting it. Hell, they might actually get some respect out of that.
