Would The Manchurian Candidate fit? I could try to bring that.
 
I"ve got two Soviet era movies I think are notable enough to bypass the No Subs rule, but I suppose we'll see. Alexander Nevsky is pretty boring though so we could just skip to the 30 minute battle sequence at the end of the movie, its the only reason anyone actually watches it anymore.
 
Tonight is Communism night. Films about communists, made by communists, or have something to do with communism.
We're on the backup channel tonight because Lolcow.tv is still a bit fucky.
 
i return to saturdays next week. im doing horror subgenres instead of theming it after monsters or something
heres what i have in mind thus far

found footage
modern horror movies (2010s to now)
body horror
not in that particular order and maybe some of these will overlap with each other at various points but generally this is the idea i want
now i will ask: what should be the theme first? vote now in the comments
or dont.

im thinking come november, when we're done with halloween stuff, we could do a nostalgia night at some point. basically, we pick one movie from our childhood and we play that movie for the night.

I was thinking Saturday the 16th in the middle of the month should be yours since we have an odd number of Saturdays this October.

Since you've got more than 8 movies on that list could i ask you to save Cannibal Holocaust for later? That was going to be one of the main movies on Big Doomer Night since its fitting and Bruno's been trying to get it on a Friday for months now.

if for some reason a movie doesnt work, i'll have no choice but to use it as a replacement
