Fairly impressed so far(one level in, it's a fairly big one) as far as paid Doom wads go but I'm not sure how I feel about needing to keep my katana out to keep healing/deflecting enemy shots.
Wew. I thought the game was being casual and marking all the secrets on the map but it turns out I am the casual.

The prologue boss kicked my ass for a bit.

Project Warlock II has morphed so much over it's development in a good way. I keep on coming back to it with new features when I play.

This thread has been great for recommendations. I'm playing Metal Eden, Mortal Sin, Eclipsium (LSD walking simulator), and Texnoplazm at the moment. Cultic also just released chapter 2 as DLC, which is fantastic.

I don't deny Death Wish is an extremely quality must play mod but a remaster of a remaster is bullshit.
It certainly feels like something that should be a free upgrade for Fresh Supply owners. But to be fair, it sound like they've put a decent amount of work into. Rather than it simply being a patched up version of Fresh Supply, they've started from it's from scratch using the original Blood source code this time around:

Xitter

Would be still nice a gesture if they offered it free to Fresh Supply owners instead of the 66% discount.

Huh. Sure wasn't expecting that. They did say they wanted to update Fresh Supply but couldn't because of other works, but I didn't imagine they would redo it from the gorund up again, I guess it's sorta fitting since the Blood Source Code was leaked some time ago. I giess they won't fuck up this time then since even Civvie criticized Fresh Supply when it came out due to innacuracies. Also there was some legal bullshit that said that Fresh Supply couldn't be ported to consoles or something like that, so that's probably the reason.

They seem to be getting reamed in their Steam forum, and rightly so. Damn, between Asspyr shitty Deus Ex remaster, and now Nightdive trying to jew you out of 30 bucks for a re-release that costed 10, 6 years ago, it sure wasn't a good week for remasters.

Just finished the Cultic interlude and almost done the first level of Chapter 2. The game rules. I loved Chapter 1, Chapter 2 seems even better. The dev is great and you can tell he loves making this game. The secrets can be goddamn devious. Thank Christ for pagb666's vids.

I finished Ch. 2, and I will tell you now the levels are awesome! Not much a spoiler but a tip, if you hold tab and open the weapon radial menu you can change which guns you select first in a shared slot: so say you prefer the revolver on 3 you can set it as the first gun instead of the lever action from the first.

I scoured level 2 for more than an hour trying to find the last secret, but struck out in the end. I bet it was some super obvious destructible wall that I overlooked while looking for every crevice that I could wiggle inside.

Genemp is a reference to Hacx as it was the name of the evil corporation that caused… whatever the hell was happening in Hacx. I wonder if any Hacx I or II guys are working at Hellforge.
