I'm shocked we didn't get a Kaguya. We just have Obito and Madara as the final bosses
If you want to be technical, Vestige AFO was a Kaguya in coming out of nowhere to be the final boss instead of the more interesting villain

But anyway, can't wait for Deku to serve people at his local McDonalds.

Seems like I stopped reading at the right point. Gentle Criminal was still the best.
Gentle was one of the few characters who are actually good in this series, god bless him.

Deku is so trash. He failed to save the guy he wanted to save, shrugs it off, and to top it all off he loses his quirk for absolutely nothing.

The worst part is that he barely thinks for himself and other people have to do the thinking and emoting for him. Fucking Bakugo has a bigger reaction to Deku losing his quirk than he does.

As for the final fight, Horikoshi just made a shittier version of the final fight from Brotherhood where everyone jumps the main bad guy whose a demon lord with bullshit powers down to it resolving because one of his former minions betrayed him and the MC punches him.

Oh and the MC loses their powers in the end. But at least it makes sense with Ed being okay with it, Deku just loses his powers but I am going to guess he's going to get Iron Man armor.

There's less than 10 chapters left and I am thanking god that I don't have to bother with this manga anymore or its dogshit fanbase.

I haven't seen MHA beyond season 2, but isn't the whole point is Deku wanting to save people like All Might? Wouldn't losing the quirk he got so fast (were there even any timeskips?) be completely devastating for him?

No, we all knew AFO would come back via Shigaraki after he rewound into thin air. Especially with how anticlimactic that defeat was.

I just wanna know who all survived the Todoroki family barbecue. Is that so much to ask for?

It would but Deku is not allowed to think or be sad anymore. Instead other characters have to convey his thoughts for him. He wanted to save Shigaraki and let him have a second chance and he failed while other characters cope on his behalf.

Non-zero chance that the series ends with Deku getting a quirk ala X-Men 2 with Magneto moving the chess piece.
He’ll get Iron Man armor or a job application if anything.

came to say that Deku is an obnoxious shit and i don't feel bad when that douche gets bullied by people more interesting than him

I think him being okay with losing the quirk is probably to set up him finally mastering the heroic power to grin like an idiot, now that the burden is lifted.

I'm just glad that fucking battle is over. They're mainly in bed doing nothing this chapter and it's instantly a hundred times more readable. Cheer up, nerds.

That's really disappointing. The narration in season 1 is all about "how I became the greatest hero" which would indicate that he grew up to basically All Might 2.0; instead it...isn't. The whole Bakugo thing was always handled poorly. I was expecting him to become evil or something, or at the very least be a good foil to Deku's character by being some vicious anti-hero who wouldn't hesitate to beat criminals within an inch of their lives. Instead, the whole series is on Deku's unrequited bromance with the guy.

I'm really glad I stopped after S4.

Manga is officially going to end this summer with the final chapter being 430

New chapter came out recently (426) that concludes the Todoroki plotline and its an entire chapter dedicated to Endeavor constantly reminding the audience how sorry he is for being a rapist and abusing his kids, and constantly goes on about how sorry he is and how he'll atone. Shoto and Dabi are barely a part of the chapter as it needs to really go on about how Endeavor feels so sorry and how he's such a good person for virtue signaling.

I would say that Endeavor did nothing wrong, but he actually did two things wrong - not stopping his psychopathic wife, and regretting anything but not stopping her.

I'd really like to know about Horikoshi's family circumstances, but, of course, Wikipedia in languages accessible to me does not give a single fuck about biographies of some Japs.

My brother in Christ, she was sold to him, and he abused the fuck out of her, and their children before sending her to an insane asylum when she had a mental breakdown because of it.

How the fuck is she the psychopathic one?

How the fuck, you ask?

- Decide that working is for plebs and sign onto the Quirk breeding program, where you marry a top-tier superhero and do nothing but pump out babies for the rest of your life. Maybe my memories is hazy, due to reading that part of the manga years ago, and dropping it shortly afterwards, but I don't remember even a hint of her being in any way coerced into it.
- Be surprised that the program which purpose is to pump out babies to be trained as superheroes demands from you to pump out babies. And these babies are going to be trained as superheroes.
- Get unhappies.
- Manipulate the children against their father. Physically and emotionally scar one of them for life because you're sad, and that excuses you for everything.
- Go to the insane asylum instead of the prison where you belong, in story presumably because your husband has enough clout and, and out of story because, after all, women can't be held accountable for their actions.
- Blame everything on the husband.

What's next, asking how the fuck Decuck is not heroic?

You ARE misremembering things.

-She did not sign up for the Quirk breeding program. Her parents did because they were old money, lost their fortune and did not want to live within their means.
-She was perfectly happy pumping out babies. It was HER idea in fact. Enji was (at least initially) happy with just Toya. Rei insisted on more kids so that they can support each other as a superhero team and as a family (Fantastic 4-style).
-She was abused physically and verbally by Enji to the point she developed PTSD (the doctors refused visitation from Enji for this exact reason).
-She did not manipulate the kids. She just told Enji to ease up a bit as he was hurting Shoto and Toya with his attitude and the kids saw him beat her. He also abused the kids.
-She hurt Shoto because she mistook him for Enji and tried to defend herself in a moment of panic and weakness. Enji recognised what happened and realised that keeping her around hurt everyone.
-Enji has admitted what he did and accepted blame. A lot of what we know about the abuse is from Enji. Toya propably triggered his PTSD from when his father died (because of Enji 's cowardice) and things got worse from there. Rei did also accept some blame too. She admitted that she should have stood up harder againsts Enji as the matriarch and she should also have tried to do something for the growing darkness within the family instead of just letting things get worse until it lead to Toya 's supposed death and the abuse.
