Lupes' husband pushed her into having sex a day or so after she had skin removal surgery, and ripped open her stitches.
He didn't want her telling the doctor what really happened because the dr. wouldn't understand that he had "needs".

Penny's story was bad too, she refused to set goals, was a bitch to her husband and everyone else around her, she's a know-it-all, claims she's lost weight but has gained, and thinks she's a better mom than a woman who works outside the home, not realizing if her child didn't come in her room she wouldn't even SEE him.
In the update, her command center, excuse me, her BED, is in the living room next to the front door, and claims her couponing saves them $500 per month which is as good as earning it.
Her and James K are the worst the show has to offer, in my opinion.

My fucking god...sometimes the spouses are the real monsters. I just watched Zsalynn's Story and wanted to beat the shit out of her husband. The scene where her daughter asks why she married him and saying she was glad she took after her mother was just heartbreaking. Thank god she got away from him.

Can't believe I forgot about that. Seriously, fuck that guy.

Another one is Schenee. She quit the show after gain 47 lbs, but not before getting in a fight with Dr. Now about God and stuff. She literally believed God would make her skinnier. Seriously.

I don't think she believed it. I think she used religion as an excuse to be lazy.

I mean, if she were truly religious, then she'd be well aware of the fact that sloth AND gluttony are deadly sins?

Teretha is also one to watch. She refused to walk at all.
Lisa Fleming was rage inducing and it was implied ice cream was somehow used for sex.
Robert Buchel is the 1st to die during taping, also not a very dedicated loser of weight.
Rena and Lee is also good. Lee cannot stay away from the cookiejar and throws a fit here and there.
Zsalynn had the feeder husband trying to get her to eat burgers knowing it would kill her, taking her to a drive in and trying to get her to eat.
Penny started frying wontons as soon as she got home. Absolute trainwreck.
Pauline Potter got under my skin as well.
Bettie Jo and Amber Rachdi are interesting because they had the biggest beta orbiters of all time. Skinny dudes with bad skin and Shaggy beards that got cucked and booted out for a better deal respectively as soon as the hamplanets lost weight.
I think it was Joe's Story but that guy trooned out and was a total mess. He came out and nobody gave a flying fuck and had that "here we go again" look.
Janine also could not stop crying. Eat, cry, get on plane, cry, get off, fart, cry, burp, cry. Worth a watch also.

He did not cheat once but kept at it. They have broken up and gotten together more than swingers on a soap opera. Lupe was also so goddamn ugly I cannot get my head around it and on updates she only posted about all the hot men lusting after her and how hot she is.
 
Sean is a good one. He was the heaviest person on the show (at one point we weighed over 1000lbs). He was in his early 20s and had a codependent relationship with his crazy mother.

He did lose weight and get surgery but his mom died. In a follow up episode he had no idea how to live without someone constantly doting on him, he stopped bathing, and his new goal at the ripe old age of 25 was to live out his life in an assisted living facility.
 
I've never gotten into watching this show, mainly because the morbidly obese make me irrationally annoyed, but this thread convinced me to DVR the James K. episode and give it a chance.

I've only watched a few minutes so far, but fucking christ. The nonchalant way he says "Durr I shit myself" followed by whatever Lovecraftian abomination is growing all over his legs, I'm pretty sure I'm hooked. Absolutely horrified, but hooked.

And though I've never watched the show proper, this clip never fails to crack me up.
 
It's the closed captioning that really makes that clip sing:

A new one is out about this who I think is named Ton. He's a fat fuck ginger 34 year old from Georgia that plays fortnite all day and eats while naked because clothes are too restricting. His mom tried to get him to get a job so he moved to his fathers' instead. The utter waste of life is just shocking and surprisingly the fucker can still walk
