I’ve been doing some research and since I don’t want to double post I’m going to put this here. Somebody on r/My600lbLife posted that Billy Robbins, star of the documentary Half Ton Teen, is going to be appearing on this season along with his cousin, who is also a megafatty.

I've been watching the Assanti brothers eps after a coworker mentioned them and this shit is genuinely depressing to watch. I feel like on a very lowest common denominator level people might find them relatable in one way (similar background, weight problem, whatever) but beyond that initial moment of possible kinship it's like they're not even people. It's like Steven and Justin have devolved from human beings to some grotesque intermediate stage radiation monsters.

Justin Assanti is active in an anti-Steven group. Fun fact, he fucking hates his brother and everything he stands for. He’s a fat autist who runs a game shop, if not for the show no one would know who Justin is. Steven Assanti is a horrible human being who’s smug about playing the system to get money and opioids and scams everyone he meets.

Yeah, I just finished watching the episodes and I've read the thread about them in the lolcow general board too. What a freaking mess. With Steven especially it's like goddamn even if he manages to successfully look like a normal person someday (I don't think he will) there's so many issues and such a foul personality and mental issues accompanying all that. Like, damn, dude. Pull the plug already and save everyone else the trouble.
 
I love whoever edits this show. The opening of every episode now has one of the fattys screaming “OW MAH LEG”.
 
New episode is all about a lady who's like if Barb didn't have kids and just went forth and ate to the extreme.
 
I love this show. Especially the beginning, when you get to see their fucked up bodies and struggling to maintain basic hygiene, set to sad music, then stuffing themselves while lamenting ''THINGS NEED TO CHANGE OR I'M gonna die''

I don't know lady, you could start with eating one Eggo waffle with fruit, instead of SIX, along with four sausage patties, the whole thing covered in whipped cream?

ETA: also that lady used to be a plus-sized model in her 20's. That's the fate that awaits you, HAES/fat acceptance snowflakes.
 
I'm convinced that Dr. Now's son, the TV producer that got the show made is a total shitlord that frequents /fit/ and r/fatlogic

Screaming about needing to eat fried chicken in bed, grits, needing grape drank and having a skinnier boyfriend who wants to fuck her ugly fat butt... and her using sex as a manipulation tool to get food. Oh my god. She implied he ate ice cream out her vag or something.

I was laughing so hard tho--- she was like someone made a fat, sassy cariatcher racist black puppet waddle its stupid legs while reeing for an hour while making scripted stereotypical remarks. It barely seemed real.

And the best part was she yelled at Dr. Now for his honestly-- he confronted her on her tactical reeeing for pity points--- so she gave the most "OH HELL NAW YOU DONT DISRESPECT ME" black lady speech he was like "are you done." He was completely unphased
She then proceeded to cry and say "IM GONNA KEEL MYSELF"

it was an hour and a half long, miserable failure filled episode and it was fucking hilarious. 10/10

I just saw that doc a couple days ago. His mom is not right in the head. It got so disturbing that I almost shut it off. (Same with those thirst annotations that I couldn't distinguish between jokes or no.)

Holy shit, Robert died. He's the first death on the show to happen while it's filming and the second total. Drug addiction and morbid obesity is one helluva combination.

I wanted to feel bad for him but I couldn’t after seeing the way he treated his fiancé. He said she didn’t do enough for him when she’s been the one wiping his ass all these years like come on!
