This would be awesome. I hate how they ignore the creepy feeder/fat fetishist relationships on the show. They just casually mention the partners who leave when the fatties lose weight, glossing over the fact he was feeder fetishist. It's weird they gloss over such a fascinating and major factor in the show.
 
I've been watching this show since inception and I have to say they outdid themselves with the recent James episode. From mushrooms growing on his legs to his older but timid girlfriend to angry doctor, it had it all. The daughter was a sad part and the only one who was living in reality. Parents, by the way, can arrange to "homeschool" which is probably what they did.

This is why people like Amberlynn interest me. She's 500 pounds at 26 years old. She watches this show and she still eats. Does she not understand this is her future? Now, today , is when she'd better take control, yet she keeps eating.

Food somehow comforts these people, to the point that their skin breaks open and they literally eat all day long. It is not something I understand at all.

The psychology of the feeder is interesting. Keep their spouse bedbound and they won't leave you or hurt you. But she is so damaged that she is afraid of his yelling over his life.
 
People like this baffle me. There has to be a limit. I mean, anyone with half a brain would know that the moment you can no longer see your toes or move around it's time to cut back on the twinkies. But it's an addiction that they just can't let go of. And I guess I pity them in that sense. But when they actively ruin the lives of their family members, my sympathy wears thin.

binge eating is an eating disorder. like anorexia or bulimia. they're all basically addictions in a way, there's some underlying mental health issue or major trauma that needs to be fixed before they can stop the compulsive behaviors, in this case, shoveling lard into their face holes continually

also I find it simultaneously revolting and interesting as fuck to see the combinations of wound infections on them. (powerleveling: I'm trained in wound care). like, fungus, yeast, pitting edema, stage three bedsores AND a staph infection. all in one leg. AMAZING SHIT.

Exactly, I have a hard time even picturing that amount of food so I started googling fast food items by calories.

To put this in perspective a Big Mac Hamburger from Mc Donald's is around 563 calories. In order to MAINTAIN his body weight he has to eat around 10,000 calories so if he ate his calories in Big Mac's he ate 17 of them a day. The doc's estimating he must have had 14,000 a day to gain the weight he did, that's 24 Big Mac's worth of calories a day.

In whole Domino's pepperoni pizzas: = 2,370 calories
To Maintain: ≈4 Whole Pizza's a day
To Gain: ≈5 Whole Pizza's a day

In Wendy's 6 piece Chicken Nuggets: = 270 calories
To Maintain: 37 orders, 222 Chicken Nuggets a day
To Gain: 51 orders, 306 Chicken Nuggets a day

I just found out that this fat fuck show will be on My 600lb life next week. There was some FB post by his sister back in May whining because he had been kicked off the show for lack of cooperation so they basically left them in Houston where she threw a huge fit because now no one was there to help clean him and feed him. She was calling Dr. No and the show a scam and giving out his email for an "expose" lol.

He must of gone crawling back because he is now promoting his episode calling himself a "star." Anyway, due to the contracts they sign for the show, you won't see anything about Steve for the past year or so. Gotta save it for all the sweet drama of the show, but I'm assuming since he's promoting it that he at least lost some weight temporarily (I don't think they'd have two Jame K types back to back.)
 
I've been trying to narrow some of the saddest children on this show. James K's daughter is pretty bad because not only did she have to leave school to care for his useless ass, but she just looks so tired and worn down by her circumstances.

Ashley is married to a truck driver and so she uses her very young son to do all household chores. The boy is so young his arms are too short to reach into the washing machine. He has to get inside of it to pull the clothes out. Also he does everything with this soldier like diligence like he's completely use to doing this by himself.

Luckily she stuck to the program.

In my opinion the enabler usually fall into three flavors on this show,

1). Person who keeps the fat husband/wife huge and bed bound by giving them anything they want so they can't leave. It makes them feel needed and gives their life purpose to have someone dependent on them.

2). Person mentally held hostage by the whale who screams and cries and threatens suicide if they leave. Any attempt to improve their situation will be met with screaming, crying until they cave. A lot of child enablers fall in this category because they feel they have to obey their parents. I'm always left with the sense we never see the worst of what they do to their loved ones on camera.

3). And finally, amoral fat fetishists who couldn't give a fuck what happens to their partner because of their fetish (a little rarer on this show), but I'll never forget this one episode where the husband pulls over right after a doctors appointment and tries to tempt his wife with fast food. Then he starts telling her he doesn't find her attractive anymore because shes's gone from 600 lbs to 400lbs and keeps complaining. By the end of her story she was single.
 
I wonder if part of it isn't that the enabler can say that they're in a relationship without having to experience any real intimacy, combined with a need for martyrdom.
