To think that there are guys out there that went from teenagers to fully grown men that possibly already went through two divorces or some crazy shit like that during the wait between Mount & Blade of 2008 to Bannerlord today. Let's give a moment of silence for those that couldn't live long enough to be able to play today.

Okay, moment of silence is over. Now it's harvesting season

Looks like melee combat requires a little more effort this time around. Fuck that, I'm going bow.
Iono, as a sweaty mordhau combat dancer it looks pretty basic. Was watching some combat dev videos and the telegraphs could be seen a mile away. Not a bad thing, though. Simplified combat is nice when the field of combat is chaotic.

But we'll see, got it downloading right now.

I'm a bit miffed that there's no option for making your attack direction relative to enemy position. Ah well, guess I'll just adapt, I've always been a sword and board/archery scrub anyway.
It's almost a blessing that I don't have my new PC built just yet, because I'd be tearing my hair out with everyone else trying to get a copy right now. It will be a hell of a way to inaugurate the new rig.
Username checks out lol.

Guys I'm fucked. My laptop can't connect to WiFi so I can't download it on steam. I usually download games from GOG on my phone and just put it on my laptop. Is there anyway to do this with steam or any other platform??

I'm having fun in single player so far. AI is a lot faster and you sorta feel lile ur on rollerskates with a wiffle ball bat weighted weapon. Connecting for a KB feels great tho. Not sure if that's intentional or not or has to do with my low skill level. Other than that great game, good improvement on warband already once a few patches come down the line. Progression is a lot slower which I don't mind.

Use ur phone as a hotspot? Ur laptop may or not be able to run it with any real playability btw.

I'm loving the game so far, it's exactly what you would expect from a Warband sequel. Some of the interfaces are a bit clunky, like the trade menu, but it's something that you can get used to.

How do you sell wood workshops? The cheeky worker told be point blank that everyone's too poor to buy it. Now I have a useless workshop.

Enjoying it so far. Similar enough to Warband, albeit with better graphics. Hope more missions appear. A bit slow to farm enough renown.

So the cheapest it's available for is $40 right? I think I'd buy it for $30

Bow is kind of OP the accuracy you can get with just a good bow without the passives is insane. I've been able to murk groups of like 20 looters solo with only 25 skill points.

Also the arena payouts are kinda shit, but once you get decent gear you can chug through all the tournaments with no problems. I'm getting tier 6 gear and weapons fighting basic level units in the final rounds. No where near as challenging as it was in Warband (especially those lance tournaments).

I also don't understand why you have too wait to continue smithing and smelting shit. It's a pretty much pointless obstacle. It's not like you can buy a shit ton of weapons to smelt down, or you can unlock schematics at a ridiculous rate. Hopefully that's addressed in a future patch.

I've been long overdue for a new PC, so I'm still messing with the settings, but how often are people getting disconnected from multiplayer servers? Don't know if it's on my end or if the servers are constantly shitting themselves

Having fun with the game all the same, though

It really is showing that it is early access but honestly I love it anyway; I think all that really matters is the game mostly works and should be set for a ton of overhaul and unofficial patch mods in the near future.
The game will really get interesting once modders have had time to sink their teeth into it. It seems like a competently executed sequel and I'm more than happy with that.
