they say giving water instead of breast malk is denying them from nutrition, which is an hyperbole on their part:
doctors in desert areas will recommend you to give some water to your newborn in between meals so they wont dehydrate, the crazy says the water will take away space for the milk and that your body magically knows when the baby body needs more water.

That reminds me of a video I saw a long time ago of a CPS worker (for fuck's sakes...) telling a dad that he couldn't have primary custody because kids should be given juice and soda instead of water since water is "empty calories". I need to find it again, it was a mindfuck.

The sex while co-sleeping thing is so insidious to me. Much of this reads as covert sexual abuse and grooming behavior.
"Oh well we don't want the baby to watch us having sex but we won't move the crib or fuck out in the hallway or in another room!" Then don't have sex? Why the fuck do you need to screw so badly but won't take the time to ensure your kid won't be in the room when you do it? Hire a babysitter or let the baby stay with your parents for a night.
"Well it's educational! We're teaching our kid about sex!" Your kid can learn about sex without having to watch you do it. There's even materials designed for explaining sex and reproduction to kids in a safe way that doesn't involve them being an unwilling voyeur into your sexual habits.
"Oh it's a baby, it won't remember anyway!" Babies can remember and retain more information than you'd think. Their early formative years are heavily reliant on watching the world and learning through processing visual information. They're learning how to communicate and mimic your social behaviors to learn what is acceptable or not. Kids who see sexual behaviors at an early age are very likely to act them out unknowingly, and that's not good for their social or sexual development once they start interacting with other people.
And this isn't even going into the breastfeeding thing. Women can have breastfeeding kinks also and the fact so many of them are experiencing orgasmic or sexual responses but attribute it to mother moon's spiritual bond between mother and child and not, like, a hormonal imbalance caused by post-pregnancy issues is really nauseating.

Regarding the "water is babby poison" meme, I think that came from nurses at welfare clinics in the past 25-ish years, but corrupted by retards. Most of their adult clientele have the cognitive abilities of small children, so it's better for nurses to tell them to never ever feed water. Some Buttshart-tier idiots would otherwise happily feed a baby ten bottles of water a day so they don't have to get off their lazy asses.

Extended co-sleeping seems like a great way to ruin a couple's sex life. Especially since the husband often gets kicked into the guest bedroom.

power level here, but my mom probably lurked on these forums. Had me sleep on the floor of my room so she could fuck her boyfriend on my bed when I was 7 or so. I almost threw a chair at her because of it. These mothers traumatize their kids.
