I've never known anyone who has sex in front of their kid. I personally would be turned off sex if a kid was in the room, especially if it was my kid. I know a girl who does co-sleep with her kid with her boyfriend, and they actually don't have sex at all. Not that they had sex much anyways, but the baby just killed most of their sex drive.

Oh good god, WHAT?!

How in the hell could anyone be remotely in the mood for sex if there are kids present in the same room?! That sounds like some serious trailer trash shit right there.

I just.... I just can't wrap my head around it. If that isn't considered some twisted form of sexual abuse, then I don't know what is.

I used to know a couple who did this and they were indeed very much "serious trailer trash shit." Their reasoning for it was that they felt the majority of what kids learn about sex should be taught to them by their parents, which is a perfectly reasonable belief, but then they took it that one step further...

I really can't wrap my head around that logic, of simply "trying to teach them", there are much better (and healthier) ways to explain it to kids without having to traumatize them.
