Monster Hunter breath of the wilds looks decent. Hopefully it won't be woke and gay.

The mount also has a bunch of camping supplies on his back so maybe a system for setting up your own camp?Little detail some autists noticed is that in the trailer, the character has a longsword in the back but the raptor hing has a light bowgun. Maybe weapon hot swapping will be a thing. Either that or it goes back to the "open worldification" of the game which I'm still trying to get my head around how they could make more compelling than detrimental without completely changing the formula.
Tizi still better show up, stun everyone like an asshole and leave.Glad they're continuing to use the mount idea from Rise, but I'm not going to get hype until I see a Kut-Ku. I miss that dumb bird.
The more I think about it, the more it feels like it's going for a breath of the Wild experience. So maybe you have a grand hunt and you are left around to fuck on your own hunting wathever and crafting whatever until you feel capable of going for the actual prey. No base of operations, just you and your backpack. The mount also has a bunch of camping supplies on his back so maybe a system for setting up your own camp?
holy shit finally. Monster Humper is my shit but Rise felt like a step backwards from World in so many ways. I was hoping they would go back to the "next generation" feel for the next game, i.e. huge seamless zones and shit, the mounts are one cool idea Rise had that I'm glad they're carrying over
I kind of hope they do this, because grabbing your crap and running off to a hunt without being popped back into the hub sounds great. The more I think about it, the more it feels like it's going for a breath of the Wild experience. I like such a premise but it breaks so much with the Monster Hunter mold, also makes one wonder how multiplayer would work then.
They could have multiple little towns that operate as little hubs For multiplayer so you can pick up your friends and go out explore and or do quest and then have a larger hub for other questI kind of hope they do this, because grabbing your crap and running off to a hunt without being popped back into the hub sounds great.
I imagine there has to be some kind of hub though.
Best I can think of is that yes, you have your "hub" but you can't go back without abandoning the mission unless you hunt your real prey. So lets say you start up the game and your first mission is to get lost in the dessert till you take down a Black Diablos. That's a pretty big fucking ask for the first mission, but this time there is no time limit, so you are fucking around in a vast desert biome hunting whatever the fuck you run into trying to find what you can and can't kill and farming the packs of shit you can manage to build up your gear till you can finally go into that Black Diablos, take the fucker down and back to base to get asspats.I kind of hope they do this, because grabbing your crap and running off to a hunt without being popped back into the hub sounds great.

'Video Games are art' fags can suck my dick. Video games are power fantasies about fighting dragons with a cool sword and anything else is a mistake.
True history repressed by the Royal Society.power fantasies about fighting dragons with a cool sword are art. what the hell do you think folklore and mythology are
The trailer barely counts as a teaser, we just assume open world because it's the vibe it kind of seems to be going with.I don't really watch trailers so I didn't see this one either, but if what I'm reading is true and it's open world, I wonder how they're implementing it. Would it be like Stories where you veer off into Dens and hubs are found between biomes? Definitely not buying the game at launch as much as I love the series, as it's silly to put blind faith into games.

On a separate topic, how are the stories games? I have 2 on my wishlist but my jrpg backlog is also obscene, but I wouldn't mind bumping it up a bit thanks to word of mouth.
Since MonHun is now popular enough, on reddit now and then, you'll have opinion on like why female armours are so different to male versions. Like why so skimpy and slutty.I need better armor sets. I want that Gammoth set that makes men look like a tank and women look like a girl out on the town. Then the 80’s homo erotic guy outfits and the women having big ass poofy dresses.
The diversity in how retarded you can look is the best part of monster Hunter.
