Nobody likes Dana White, he is smug he has many biases and he is retarded. But at least he goes out and makes himself the face of the UFC.
Dana has been with MMA for a long time 3 decades now? And he's been pushing for MMA to become the next US national sport even after lawsuits and threats of legal action by US politicians for barbaric entertainment (John McCain). He is not dumb even if he seems to be and made many good decisions early on to make MMA mainstream over Boxing in the US. Also McGregor helped out too.

The sport has vastly outgrown him, if it hadn't already close to the very beginning. As another commenter on a forum said:
"That greasy fuck is holding the sport back with his fragile ego. It could be so much bigger than what it is."

He's been accused of being a habitual liar whenever it suits his wants. I firmly believe he's suffering from antisocial personality disorder.

There was this painting of Dana White done in MS Paint that perfectly encapsulated tomatohead's smug grin and stare that I believed I had saved, but unfortunately I've seem to have lost it. Oh well.

I don't really care about the sport getting bigger or whatever. It'll just mean more corporate shilling and pandering to normgroids. Arguably, the UFC was more entertaining when it was less of a global entity, and Dana did his job of organising and promoting events better too.

Aljo is in a position where he is fighting more because he wants to as opposed to needing to, either for money or to fulfill the madness that drives fighters. He's not going back to 135 and he has to be realistic about whether or not he can break the Top 5 of Featherweight.

She is also fairly pissy in general about her pro wrestling career dying on the vine. People loved her at first but got bored after they realized she could only work the one match she'd initially learned so the WWE eventually let her go.

She supposedly had a generally shitty attitude when she was there anyway and I think the last wrestling related thing she did was an appearance in Ring of Honor which is basically AEWs YouTube show.

Tom could have continued obviously. I don't buy he was completely blind and couldn't see. I do buy it was absolutely compromised and he should not have continued. Most of these fighters have absolutely 0 leverage and have to go back to waiting tables if they lose their contract. So comparing them to other people who have to make it work isn't really saying anything. Yes some people continue fighting at a disadvantage but they shouldn't have to especially at heavyweight where the potential for injury is a bit higher.
Obviously the hordes of niggers, mexicans and indians hide their actual motives for their comments behind tribalism/racism. If you saw the average commenter, what they looked like, their lives, their voice, etc youd probably never take an internet comment seriously again.

In other sports fouls where you recklessly endanger another athlete are punished even when they don't result in an actual injury AND aren't intended, just the risk itself and the fact that you broke the rules is enough, I'd honestly hand out DQs even for eye pokes that don't result in a stoppage and when the victim's able to continue.

Honestly fuck turning the other cheek, especially when you're holding the belt. It's MMA, a sport, not a fucking Cambodian red room dark web stream of two guys having a death match in someone's basement. Smith is also a pussy for not taking the DQ win against Jones.

I dunno, I think the ass whipping Jones would have given him, during their immediate rematch, would probably pale in comparison to beating him got from Glover. Was he thinking about that, at the time? Highly doubt it, but I have a feeling that thought has popped up in his mind after his fight.

I just watched the interview and she is absolutely delusional to the point that she was trying to rewrite history in real time. People turned on Anderson Silva after he lost? People turned on Rampage after he lost? People turned on Chuck Liddell? What world is she living in?

And Khabib didn't fight long enough? Okay, in 2020, who was Khabib supposed to fight that he hadn't already beaten? Paul Felder? Dan Hooker already lost to Dustin. Tony lost to Justin and took himself out of the title hunt. Are we going to run with the narrative that Khabib retired to duck Charles Oliveira?

It's already been said but you every fighter should just give their opponent at least one groin hit and eye poke in every fight. I mean really, there's no repercussions for doing and you can use it to your advantage to win the fight. There's more punishment for missing weight by two pounds then there is for jabbing your fingers in someone's eye socket.

In January it'll be 9 years since they made extended fingers towards the opponents face a foul, which was supposed to fix this issue. I have zero faith that whatever they're proposing this time will either
a)Be serious enough to make a difference and
b)Actually be enforced.

Think about the extended fingers thing, how often has anyone seen that foul enforced in almost a decade? Hell we literally just saw Gane get warned multiple times, poke someone, and still nothing happened.
 
All they’re going to talk about doing is implementing a three-strike rule for those who aggress or rangefind with an opened palm. Some regional scenes do this already - three warnings, point. It’s then up to the refs to enforce like. Like mentioned prior, there have been rules against opened hand aggressing for the better part of a decade and it is one of the most lightly enforced rules.

The gloves are culprit to the difficulty of keeping a closed fist, then you look at long and lanky fucks like Max Holloway who have never committed the foul and manages to keep their fists tightly closed for the entirety of five rounds. The gloves suck dick, but fighters like Gane are just sloppy and have no discipline.
