I hope he retires. I respect the hell out of him, but he’s such an incredible jobber that a W over him is pretty worthless. Not even an up and coming guy would benefit from fighting him. He’s too emotional and gunshy.

Credit to Reyes for not just outright brutalizing the guy in front of his family. He was definitely holding a bunch of those elbows.

I hope ‘probably retire’ means he’s totally done. He does fine on the pre-fight shows. Like Miocic, I didn’t take any pleasure in watching this guy hang on for dear life.

As the resident Jon Jones hater, yes and no.
Jon is a freak athlete with one of highest fight IQs in UFC history, and is very coachable. It helps that he may be an actual sociopath who has no concern for his opponents' lives or careers, which is useful against anyone who fights.

But his whole career is one big asterisk. He fought some legit legends... when they were 5-10 years older than him and on the downswing...and he was on steroids (lost more titles to USADA than anyone in UFC history). Dominick Reyes beat him (no one who saw the fight and wasn't on Dana's payroll believes different).
