I was invited to watch UFC by a coworker (ep.300?). I have never really watched it before, except some clips on YouTube. I can see the fun in watching it, but the ads unironically ruin it. Why is there an ad read not only in between the rounds but during the fight?? Nigger, I am here to watch people get fucked up and I can't even do that without some gay ass ad distracting me from the fight.
I get that they need to make money, and could stomach some ads, but they are plastered everywhere. Every free second is used to sell you something, on top of the stickers that are plastered everywhere. And why are they trying to convince me that all the athletes are drinking Logan Paul's Prime. The formula is so shit, no serious trainer would rely on it to actually replenish lost electrolytes of their athlete.
Sorry, I don't want to derail anything, but I needed to vent a bit, and this seems the appropriate place to talks about it.
Are there always so many ads and how was it a couple of years ago? I heard that there was some sort of Rebook deal that fucked the fighters over; did that play a major role?
