I take it UFC 295 has no hype for tonight?

No enthusiasm for Perreira's glass jaw to get tested at LHW?

No bets for our guaranteed new HW champ?

Dana should be on his knees begging Ngannou to come back.

The light heavyweight main event tonight doesn't even sound that exciting. Even the heavyweight match is still sounding boring.

The HW championship is being contested between two guys who have only ever been on Fight Night.

As much as I don't like Jonny Bones, this is a pitiful substitute.

How is the return of Jiri Prochazka, a guy who is arguably more bizarre and violent than Tony Ferguson (and with a fucking 94% finish rate), fighting Alex Pereira, the most interesting thing to happen to MW and LHW (since Khamzat has been shown to not be the juggernaut people thought he was) not sound exciting?

Both strikers that can end fights with 1 touch and an almost guaranteed KO finish.

The rest of the card is underwhelming for sure, with Aspinall v Pavlovich the only other thing I'm interested in seeing, but how the fuck is the main event not a badass fight? Do you even like fighting?

Based on the press conference, I did not expect Aspinall to do that at all. In fact, I expected the opposite, or a victory by sub or later rounds for Aspinall. That was shocking

early ass fucking stoppage. i love alex, i'm very glad he won, but that was not the end of the fight smh.
oh well, he's so cool

Anyone got restreams? missed out because I couldn't be fucked to watch the fight and had to help out to do some other shit.

Alex I did expect to win, but my heart wanted Jiri to do it so bad.

I love pereira, but that stoppage was EARLY Jiri definitely could have gotten up from that. Marc Goddard let Mackenzie Dern get knocked out like 3 times consecutively but a couple of elbows from pereira and the fights off? I’m glad he won and this card was amazing but I wish it would’ve gone on longer

I kinda hope they immediately run that back. I love seeing Pereira win, but I really love watching Jiri fight too. Based on the post fight interview, I don't think they're gonna run it back, but Jiri will be back in contention soon enough

turns out, the one person who doesn't think it was an early stoppage.. was jiri himself

"i think, in the end, it was right. i was out."

jiri is the realest motherfucker to have ever lived, it would be so easy to be salty here, or to protest the decision

Good on him. Jiri was always a man of moral code, so it is a good standup act of sportsmanship to accept the loss. Unlike a certain negroidic chinamen...

Keith Peterson is my favorite ref overall. He let that Clay Guida fight go and it turned out to be a banger. Only want the fight to be stopped when it's obvious someone is out or it is clear from his body language he has given up.
