It was something like 6 days to the event, they swapped states since Nevada wouldn't be able to investigate it completely in time. They cover his ass hard.

Jones definitely sounds like he was on something (hitting his head on the car, threatening the cops, flipping between crying and angry etc). That being said I'm not hugely confident this will go anywhere if the chick is refusing to cooperate, and if it doesn't the UFC will ignore it claiming he's innocent like they do with Greg Hardy.

He's already doing the "must grind my way through this test given by God" bullshit already. Already doing the "I'm a victim" for beating and bloodying up my fiancé. He was the same when he crashed the car into the pregnant woman's car when he went onto Joe Rogan's podcast. He was asked what he would feel if he had hurt/killed the woman by doing it and he responded he "would feel terrible because it would make him look like a monster".

Pregnant woman had a broken arm IIRC. That being said this is definitely the worst thing he's done. The hit and run was definitely fucked up but that was more selfish than malicious (he didn't go out of his way to hit her etc). Deliberately beating your partner/mother of your kids is about as low as you can go on the scumbag scale outside of beating the kids as well.
Sad part is the UFC subtly condones or enables his behavior. If anyone remembers Jones vs Gustaffson 2, Jones popped for a few picograms in Vegas a week before the event and the commission wouldn't clear him for the event until they finished the investigation. The UFC decided to move the entire event to LA, fucking over many fans who planned their trip to the event, just to accommodate him.
