for me AA3 is just one big empty list where it shows no servers, AAPG has no more support from US army as they said it in 2022 but you can still play on many servers for fun.
That entire genre of youtubers could possibly make a good community watch thread, i find how they use their own personal websites in place of direct links to the game they talk about really scummy.that bluedrake guy deserve his own thread at some point
I feel like the reaction to Squad's microtransactions was well placed as a pre-emptive way to show OWI the community didn't want fortnite shit in game, though it was nowhere near as bad as the killing of Post Scriptum.Squad's getting a new suppression/gunplay update. It looks really good in making the game more hardcore and "realistic," while making shit like irons/rds' more feasible. Alleviates some of my concerns about the direction OWI's going with squad. Also haven't heard anything about their monetization shitshow since it happened and everyone in-game has already seemed to have forgotten emotes exist. Been playing a lot recently and I've seen an emote maybe twice in the past 3 weeks.

On the other side of the spectrum, Hell Let Loose is looking like it's turning into a shitshow with a change in leadership that doesn't know what it's doing.

wait, what happened with PS?though it was nowhere near as bad as the killing of Post Scriptum.
Offworld completely killed development and laid off all the devs. I can't tell you how the game was before that point (not much of a WWII guy personally), but it certainly left a bad taste in a lot of player's mouths along with some of the other shit Offworld pulled with their other IPs. It's why I'm surprised there's not more skepticism around their Starship Troopers game.wait, what happened with PS?
I think Starship troopers gets off because its not trying to be a multiplayer milsim game, so the expectations are different. I am kinda sad about PS but i imagine its better than whats happening to hell let loose. no ones heard anything about PS since January and several mod projects got canned over it.Offworld completely killed development and laid off all the devs. I can't tell you how the game was before that point (not much of a WWII guy personally), but it certainly left a bad taste in a lot of player's mouths along with some of the other shit Offworld pulled with their other IPs. So it may have been Tencent dictating that, but that's just baseless speculation on my part.I think Starship troopers gets off because its not trying to be a multiplayer milsim game, so the expectations are different. Not exactly a bad concept, IMO. Starship Troopers: Marauder was a surprisingly fun FPS. I'm keeping an eye on this game to see if it pans out.Far as SST goes, it's fun so far. The base that's there is great and if they can expand on that then hopefully the game will have legs. The first major content update is out next week so we'll see. It's basically just a horde shooter with the 1997 movie as a paint job.
