For anyone that is wondering, yes there was a successor to the PFED, I'm pretty sure it's declassified at this point, but it's essentially a Samsung Galaxy with mapping data.

Have you ever heard of the Guardrail EW aircraft, I knew a guy who worked on the revamp of it and the story behind it was really cool, in the the defense industry is super scummy way.

The most current version only had 16 total pilots in the Army and 40 or more that are just retired Air Force and Coast Guard guys that fly them as contractors for a specific entity.

The crew that operates the RF equipment on them are always contracted because the Army apparently can't be trusted to train high schoolers to use it worth a damn

This is the best helicopter ever built. All other opinions are wrong.

It's pretty good, but the RMMV HX is a lot newer and very very good.
German equipment is either hit or miss for me. I like the HEMMET just because its so standardized at this point. I do like the new Skyranger 30

Fires 30mm AHEAD rounds, carries 2 stinger or Misteral missiles. This one in particular is on a boxer chassis like we talked about, the hotswap shit. Also has a 35mm variant. This is something I'd like to write into my books, something like it, a SHORAD rape beast against C-RAM targets.

Hot take, I like the Zumwalt class

Definitely has drawbacks. Notably no CWIS, they replaced the planned 57mm guns with 30mm, the main 155mm guns have no ammo, and a tumblehome hull which is... questionable. That said its been a good test bed that soon is going to be the first hypersonic missile carriers in the US navy. And it's fast, especially for its weight. And let's not forget the stealth tech.

If I was to improve this, replace the 30mm with 57 for some actual CWIS, add a RAM or Phalanx or even a laser since the Zumwalt was designed with high electrical generation, replace the 155mm guns with hypersonic missiles, and then qualify the remaining VLS missile inventory for the Zumwalt, since most of them aren't because it doesn't use Ageis.

Yes, my good nigger, it is indeed the venerable Loach. Damn near indestructible and fast as heck.

The "loach" Little Bird variant is pretty cute ngl. Can carry some Hydras, Hellfires, machine guns, and a sensor pod or carry some boys in the back. The OH-6 straight version is just slick:

Pure scout observation copter. Guess it could mount a machine gun from what I'm reading if you were feeling spicy.

It had a fantastic gun but Army Brass thought it was clever to make the pilots fly without it, as they might be tempted to, y'know, actually kill their enemies rather than just finding them.
Read 'Low Level Hell' by Hugh L. Mills. Great book.

I'll put that book on my list. That's pretty stupid but sounds like the Army to a T. No such thing as too much firepower. That and I doubt pilots would be getting up close often when the entire front is bubble glass. Glad the retards didn't win in the end though, the Little Bird is packed with weapons

Yes but only the air force gets those.
Not true. I got issued them when I was deployed for MRF-D. They also only cost 60 or 70 bucks at most surplus stores, making them super cheap for a great price of gear.
Now, I imagine the Air Force might get better ones, I have not been to an air force base to look at their stuff to know though.

Is it capable of doing text-only communications and field telephone compability like say, SANLA?

It was supposed to be a joke but it just sucked :(
