Well then, I learned something today.

Although, It doesn't happen very often I would guess.
 
Oh man, is this a vegan thread?

Vegan blogs are my favorite blogs to look at for insane shit. I'll need to dig up more but here are two of my favorite crazy posts.

Fun fact: In conditions where not enough resources exist to sustain a population, there have been recorded instances of animals using another species' milk as a fallback, just like we did all those millions of years ago. For instance, some birds and feral cats on the tiny Guadalupe Island will drink from the teats of elephant seals. That's not even getting into those glurge stories you hear every once in a while about interspecies adoption, although I suppose these people will try to argue that those are 100% because of urbanization and domestication and other evil human things.

Also, those tats look natural as fuck.

I guess artificial insemination doesn't count as a medical procedure anymore. Clearly the majority of modern farmers are cowfuckers

They mainly exist to take nude photographs of stupid celebrities and make laughably bad propaganda that makes a Chick tract look subtle. Needless to say, that's not how you kill a rabbit unless you're a psycho.

I actually never knew that, and that's one of the most interesting things I've heard in a while. Nature is incredible.

Figures that PETA knows nothing about how people actually prepare meat animals (butchering/drawing/etc), or at the very least opt for a more sensationalist image to plant the idea into impressionable childrens' heads that anyone who eats meat is some sort of vile cereal killer.

Didn't your mom ever give you 'The Talk'? Why, in my family, it was a right of passage to torture bunnies while wearing a hive of bees on your head!

Thankfully, every single one of the comments pointed out how this would irrevocably devastate (and eventually destroy) the entire ecosystem, which is held together by an incredibly delicate balance between producers, herbivores, and carnivores. We've actually seen what happens on a smaller scale when the number of carnivores are reduced, either by natural means or human intervention; the herbivores' population usually explodes beyond control and they wreak havoc on the environment.
 
Because if hunters kill deer, it's horrible, but if we spend a bunch of time bringing natural predators back to the area so that they can kill the same deer, it's all right.
