What's the endgame here anyway? I just can't see what they're trying to accomplish. I can at least think of a couple tangible things MRAs want done. But MGTOW? Are they gonna show up all those horrible women by dying sad, pathetic and alone? That'll teach 'em.

I do understand some of them, especially those who went through a terrible divorce. If the horror stories I hear from American family courts are true then I understand why men would see marriage as a game of Russian Roulette. Or if otherwise your experiences with the opposite sex have been almost completely negative it will manifest in your views. When it comes to the most vocal and visible part of the MGTOW community there seems to be some massive amount of :autism:, loveshyness and other dysfunctions going on. And dysfunction only attracts dysfunction. You'll get the same situation as with Roosh V and PUA faggots in general: When you're a massive fuckup then the only women who are willing to approach you are massive fuckups themselves, so naturally you'll keep oy veying about AWALT, gynocentrism and what have you. It makes perfect sense that you're going to stink if you spend most of your time in the sewers.

As for common interests, I think it's pretty neat if you have the same hobbies and can be a bonus and offer additional bonding experiences. Though when the "chemistry" (for the lack of a better term) is right people will get along with one another no matter their recreational interests.

The black pill is that its already over.
The white pill is that you can slow down this cycle enough to escape it through technology like the artificial womb or simply enough replacements for women that a certain balance is reached once again. I can kinda see where these guys are coming from. I mean, if you're a dorky, schlubby guy, and you're kinda shy and don't have much money the best you're probably gonna get is some obnoxious, smelly, Lena Dunham lookalike who's an "empowered woman" (that means she doesn't clean up after herself or her cats) and she's gonna pressure you into a cuckold relationship, why wouldn't you wanna stay single?
