Ok so this is kind of old and I'm sorry I didn't know about these forums earlier because I could have posted this when it was still fresh but I think this guy still bears proper mention here even if I'm not sure he still qualifies for a lolcow (he hasn't been particularly active on DA or tumblr lately).
Ok so the year is 2011. Popular Nuzlocker pettyartist is doing a comic run of leaf green on deviantart. All is going well when a user named mewtwostruckback begins commenting on the run expressing displeasure at the thought of mewtwo dying as a part of the comic's story. What at first seemed like a kind of overzealous fan quickly spiraled out into unforeseen depths of pure nuts. I can't really do it justice just summing it up. See this guy loves mewtwo. And by loves I mean has an incredibly unhealthy obsession with him. He has no artistic talent to speak of himself so he commissions other artists to make art of mewtwo being awesome. And if someone has drawn mewtwo being less than awesome he commissions an artist to draw mewtwo BRUTALLY MURDERING that person to prove how awesome he is. He was under the impression that any art "defaming" mewtwo would lower his appeal in the eyes of potential mewtwo fans so he sought to counteract "negative" mewtwo art by flooding DA with "positive" mewtwo art. Without considering the idea that drawing mewtwo as a psychotic murderer might do more to alienate fans than a silly picture showing him losing a battle.
One of the most infamous examples is this: http://mewtwostruckback.deviantart.com/#/art/I-came-at-you-bro-187294163?hf=1 a response comic drawn because someone made a silly drawing of Zuruzukin standing triumphantly over a defeated mewtwo. The original picture was cute, bloodless, and silly in tone. So of course the logical response was to draw mewtwo blasting a gaping bloody hole in someone's chest. Unfortunately the link to the original doesn't work, it was taken down largely because the artist got skeeved out by someone drawing revenge art of their work.
He did this all the time, occasionally mewtwo would be brutally murdering the actual artists and not just their characters (he threatened petty at one point with the possibility of him commissioning something like that of her) though these seem to have been removed along with some of his more objectionable pieces probably because the artists complained and got them taken down. Which is a shame because his gallery today is not even a fraction of the utter insanity that it was four years ago. Frankly I'm surprised he kept the zuruzukin picture up, probably because the artist folded rather than campaign to get it removed.
He also boycotted nintendo for SIX YEARS because mewtwo wasn't a playable character in brawl. And promptly lifted his ban when it was announced he'd be dlc in the wii-u smash. Even going so far as to buy every nintendo console he'd missed in that interim at once. He keeps a tumblr at mewtwostruckback.tumblr.com and aside from the smash weirdness he seems to have mellowed out somewhat. He doesn't pay for revenge art anymore and he hasn't ranted at nuzlockers lately. By and large he's been very quiet but he still holds this weirdass belief that if mewtwo's popularity ever declines past a certain point BAD THINGS will happen. Or something. It's not really clear what dire consequences this will have but he really really wants to avoid them.
Even if the milk's run dry so to speak I figured people might get a kick out of this considering there was a thread about slugfucker earlier and this guy is kind of the same brand of weird, different outlet.
