The MGS2 fixes are still coming, the next version of MGSHDFix will restore the missing color filters from some scenes in MGS2 (Some examples include when Snake's stealth camo breaks in Tanker, or when Raiden first interacts with a node and gets shocked in Plant, both of which had subtle color changes that were missing in the HD collection ports.) Future updates will include the classic Thermal Goggles look from PS2 (which looks more like how they did in MGS1, red and black color scheme), and the missing UI/HUD trails when swimming. Source
Hope it has the ability to play your own music via the I-pod (on PC). And the lines about pressure sensitive controller inputs and the motion controls reminds me that even in terms of controllers we're getting away from greater interactivity. I'm also assessing MGO isn't going to be a thing? Despite the seemingly rabid dedicated fanbase for it. I'd like to play it myself, but we'll probably get foxhunt 2.0, yuck.
It looks good so far. I can't wait.
I wonder how much it costed them to keep the licensed stuff, from the music to the brands like iPod. Usually that stuff isn't free.
Asssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.... well there goes my purchase. I want to play MGO, genuinely, looks fun. I can emulate 4 any time I want, but MGO requires a couple extra hoops. They'd have a winner if they could just not be Konami for 5 seconds and learn from MGS3's fox hunt fiasco. But no, having any sort of hope or desire for expectations to be exceeded in the modern day is a recipe for disappointment.
