Got bored and started Ground Zeroes. It's even worse than I remember. Kiefer is so dull and alien to the rest of the cast and I don't understand the nostalgia for anyone besides Big Boss, and even he is the worst character.

I have no real problem with Kiefer VA in Ground Zero and Phantom Pain.
The biggest issue I have with his VA, is that He is not given any chance to show off his voice work.
Getting rid of Hayter for Kiefer and not using Kiefers acting skill is just.... stupid.
In the call of duty zombies (I think black ops 4) he was fucking amazing, but you're absolutely right. Kojima just wanted a big name because he's a god and can do no wrong or some gay shit.

Skullface Is fucking retarded.

Something went really wrong with the entire gz/v project. Me think kojimbo fucked around too much with the Fox engine and forgot to actually make a game for it

He got the big tiddy sniper, he had his OC donut steel zombie super soldiers, a barely speaking main character, and most importantly his name in the credits of every fucking mission. And he still couldn't be arsed to "finish" the game (lmao more like he scammed Konami).

Over 80 million dollars, baaaaabyyyyyy!!

So why did Kris Zimmerman suddenly decide those were bad?

Why make such subtle changes to the localization?
IIRC the justification literally was "she's American born so she wouldn't have an accent, giving her an accent was a mistake". Though I'm not sure if it was Zimmerman that said that or some other producer.

Setting aside how Skullface is basically a Jeff Dunham character, there’s no good explanation for why he’s raging at Zero like it’s personal.

And his whole worship of The Boss is so forced. In PO and PW Big Boss is still building his myth, but by MGS5? Everybody’s still stuck on nostalgia for The Boss?? Come on.

I mean they explain it, such as it is, beyond the simple fact that Zero is English, and Skull Face hates the English Language, Skull Face especially hates the very concept of a Unified world, which Zero holds as his ideal because he thought that's what The Boss wanted, and what he probably wanted too, Skull Face very much believes the opposite.
He wants everyone to go back to much more isolated nations.

The worst of it is her philosophy isn't even that deep. "There's no such thing as a permanent enemy" holy shit, slow down Kojima I can't keep up. The fact that all the chaos of the latter 20th century is caused by a small group of people somehow misinterpreting this very simple premise just makes them all look retarded.

Pretty funny how by Snake's heyday everyone is obsessed with Big Boss in the same way (Liquid, Solidus, Eva etc.). One of Solidus' more "human" moments is his childlike glee when someone who knew BB personally complements him on his likeness.

Zero spent decades building the global machine to maintain (what he saw as) The Boss' Will. It makes sense that at some point he grew into passion for that work and for that vision, not waking up every morning thinking "better create a monument for the Ultimate Friendzone while I'm waiting for my brain to demyelinate."

Thematically a human inspired this world control structure, but habit and automated systems continued it when there was no "there" there. (And did The Boss the breathing human inspire it, or just what Zero saw as her legend?)

I think Big Boss' grand plan is more excusable than Zero, because Zero had, like, a house and a normie career to fall back on. Big Boss was making a country/world for abandoned soldiers ultimately because he wanted a home for himself, even after he soured on arguing about The Boss' vision.

The worst of it is her philosophy isn't even that deep.
And that's not a judgement on The Boss; she's late 40s, hella depressed about how everything's going, keeps getting used as a pawn, allowed to keep neither personal nor professional connections, had her hand forced into killing her babydaddy a couple years ago.

She's trying to pass a last message on to her mentee Jack in hopes he could maybe have a better life than hers, and it's a perfectly reasonable deathbed philosophical nugget for that purpose.

its more that she was THAT respected and beloved, she had way more Charisma than John ever did, everyone was awed by her, even fucking Volgin, a complete piece of shit, viewed her with barely contained fear and reverence.

Then after her death everyone tore the world apart to try and appease the void of her absence.

This is a very sympathetic take, and I can see it to a degree. But when The Boss continues to blindly follow her orders as her superiors keep stabbing her in the back it just makes her look dumb. Say what you like about Big Boss, Liquid and Solidus, they at least knew when enough was enough.

She also nukes a base full of non-combatants but the game just kind of skims over that.

It's telling that the "good guys" are the ones who just keep their heads down and get used by the villains (Snake, Raiden) while the "bad guys" are the ones who said "fuck that".

I get it. That's certainly what they were going for, and I'm being a misery guts. It's just that, apart from being really really good at beating people up, she doesn't really have anything other than middle school philosophy and "deep" one-liners ("There's no such thing as luck on the battlefield" l,mao what?).

They had her Son, she never saw him again, at least she thinks she never did, she was their patsy forever because of that.
the entire point of MGS3 is that she had put all her hopes into John, since she felt completely powerless to change anything

She doesn't nuke that base, fucking Volgin does, and the fact he does was a big fucking fly in the ointment, since she wasn't meant to defect forever and was meant to still go on and be a useful little weapon for a little bit longer, but him Nuking that base signed her death warrant.

and on the "good guys" getting used, lol David/Solid Snake had no concept that he was the Patriots Weapon till quite literally some time after MGS1, and he then spends the rest of his life taking them down, what do you want from the man, to Know an unknown, out of nothing, with what? psychic powers he doesn't have?
Same with Raiden, what do you want from a man who's entire existence was tailor made and controlled by Super A.I.'s so that he would absolutely submit and kill the man they needed him to kill, simply to prove that their methods worked, which they did?

Raiden is quite literally a trained attack dog, a brainwashed, perfectly guided missile, is he supposed to break out of this decade+ long conditioning just out of sheer spite and will? I bet if you were broken as he was, and then built back up the way his puppet masters did, you would be killing Solidus too.

But when The Boss continues to blindly follow her orders as her superiors keep stabbing her in the back it just makes her look dumb.
I thought the tragedy was that she wasn't blindly following orders--she was painfully aware of what was happening. The Boss and the Cobras gathered at Tselinoyarsk for a suicide mission, but welcoming it like a fistful of Grey Foxes.

Yes, that is the case, I mean they make it painfully obvious, they were all going out in one last big fight.
id follow my boy big boss to hell and back. the boss was a stuck up bitch.
venom doesnt exists.
You are the most fucktarded person posting in this thread, like if someone created a homunculus who would only be able to interact with a fandom it was instilled to like, in the most annoying way possible.

It's a blink and you miss it moment at the end, but right before The Boss gives her final monologue she uses the Davey Crockett one last time to nuke grozni grad. I don't know how she does it from that flower field but apparently that's what that explosion is right before she says the line "Life's end. Tragic isn't it?"

So yeah she did nuke a base with scientist and blue collar workers in it for some reason. Plots kinda all over the place.

I mean by that time anyone with a brain had fled, I dunno if you remember this, but there was this big fucking GIANT ROBOT FIGHT that just happened and all hell broke loose.
And if they didn't, well they sure as fuck signed up with Volgin, a man who everyone got to see brutally beat an old man to death in a steel drum.

I have been thinking more on a MG1/2 remake and my first question is if it would be a single game or not because not much happens in these games in comparison to the next entries. I legit think that if its going to happen, the devs would need to lean hard on the "remake" aspect, meaning that a lot will need to be reimagined and obviously suited around the new lore and retcons brought by the Solid entries (like Big Boss saying he is his father to Snake).

Okay so basically this went on longer than I expected and this is basically just MG1 but there is a lot so you have been warned.

Characters

I think it should be two games but very "tied" together, meaning its almost a part 1 and part 2 sort of experience. I have already mentioned that its important to have Gray Fox be a major character from the very start and the first hostage Snake rescues and it should be made very obvious that G.F is in charge, this man knows what to do and what needs to be done and, in a way, should be as important as Snake himself in this. Snake really needs to look "green" in this with G.F resembling more the calm and in control Snake we see in MGS 2. We likely get a CQC tutorial from him (and yes, Snake knows it and will use it in both games as he only stops using after MG2. You could argue he should stop using it after MG1 but I think this is a case where we can allow some levity and have some dialogue in MG2 that implies Snake now rejects all Big Boss was, including his teachings, explaining why he only uses it again in MGS4). Gray Fox should be the one we always contact for actual useful information (as Big Boss starts feeding us false information, disguised as "age and old injuries catching up to him")

Another character that needs to "join" the crew is Kyle Schneider as he is the leader of the rebels against the Outer Heaven uprising and thus a perfect window to the situation from a local's perspective, granting Snake a precious information. We could have him providing "side missions" in the form of hostage rescues, with Kyle insisting that these are "his people", not only that but they can also help Snake by creating a counter uprising to keep the enemy forces busy, allowing an easier time for the player. There should be other rewards for rescues as they provide information, hints, rare resources and weapons. Show Kyle expressing a deep attachment to his men and women he is leading (totally not setting up that almost everyone of them dies when O.H is bombed which leads to Kyle being barely saved from death by Big Boss)

There are smaller characters like Jennifer, Diane and her annoying brother and Im sure we should work them into the plot somehow but I would be ok if their roles expanded but if their significance was akin to Natasha from MGS1, where they are there, its not a waste of time to talk to them as they do provide significant intel but their importance is far lesser than that of Kyle and especially Gray Fox. I did picture maybe Diane's brother gets kidnapped and we gotta rescue him and there is likely a good reward to bother with it (or you can just not bother because he's annoying and Diane hates you for it...its not like she appears again after this).

We can also expand a bit on Dr Magnar and how he came to create a Metal Gear (maybe imply that others have existed in the past but he has no data on previous models besides very rudimentary stuff, thus why this Metal Gear is rather basic).

We also need to expand on the bosses because they were practically non characters, we can also imply some of them were soldiers from the days of MGS5. They dont need to be as complex as the bosses we get in the Solid series but give at least some power to their presence, you know?

"Shotmaker" - Given he was a soviet, imply he is an OG from the days of Diamond Dogs, one of the many soldiers fulton-ed away during MGS5. Have him as someone that really enjoys his work as a warden, implied he enjoys torturing rebels. Maybe he survives to appear in a later scene which I'll soon share.

"Machinegun Kid" - Likely another soldier fulton-ed in MGS5. Likely a polite sort of shooter that makes it clear its nothing personal...but death never is, isnt it?

"Bloody Brad (Arnold)" - They should be like the Salamanca Twins from Breaking Bad, silent deadly enforcers who appear along the plot and only participate when ordered to, almost like they are machines...which turns out they are. Tho it could turn out they have biological parts like a brain, implying they were once human. Radio dialogue implies that there had been interest in creating soldiers that are the perfect combination of flesh and machine, foreshadowing things like Cyber Ninja. Snake likely kills one of them by crushing because, fuck, these are already a Terminator reference so might as well cash on it.

Snake: *to Gray Fox in the radio* I had him crushed and his brain splashed onto the floor, he wont be back this time.
Gray Fox: They were more machine than man by then. You did them a favor.

"Fire Trooper" - Its difficult to imagine this guy not being a The Fury ripoff so I have imagined he could wield both fire and ice, allowing for environmental effects on the battlefield that he is in control of. He is probably armored in a heavy suit so direct approaches arent adviced so the player would need to play this smarter. He probably has a bipolar personality, being very mellow one second and then exploding on the other, likely as a result of PTSD.

"Dirty Duck (Coward Duck)" - This should be the guy no one likes, not even his own conrads as he makes it clear he is in this only for the money and has no problem in backstabbing whoever they need so he comes out ontop. He should play a spy character, maybe hidden among rebels and forcing Snake to "know" each one he rescues as to make sure he isnt bringing C.D onboard the counter uprising. I can see "Big Boss" being the one to kill him off once he reveals he is working for "who owns the board" (implying The Patriots), probably getting rocket punched in the face so hard his neck snapped or he gets choked by him and THEN neck snapped "like a duck".

The Plot Twist

And now here where the big change comes, the big boss reveal comes way earlier in the plot. Some may call this blasphemy but I legit think that even non metal gear fans at least know that Big Boss is the villain so there isnt much of a point to keep mystery.

So basically in my "version" of the plot, by the end of the second act, Snake destroys the super computer that controls Metal Gear (yes, we are being meta and "borrowing" a bit of the NES version). Snake believes its over and is leaving the room when the door opens and in walks a familiar face.

"Big Boss?!"
"Yes. Snake, its me. I must admit I have not expected you to have come this far, Im impressed."
"The Metal Gear cannot be controlled anymore. Without the supercomputer, its useless."
"Did Magnar told you that? Foolish old man."
"...What are you doing here? How did you get here?"
"Still havent figured it out? Your physical skills are impressive and yet your deductive ones leave much to be desired. I am the leader of Foxhound...and the leader of Outer Heaven."
"No...it cannot be true."
"Please, dont insult neither of our intelligence. If you use the muscle that matters, it will make sense."
"...How could you?! What is there to gain!? To betray your own unit?!"
"You have no idea how the battlefield works, do you? Disappointing. Tell me, Snake, what you think is waiting for you at the end of all this struggle? A medal? A pat from the president telling you did a good job? And then what? What happens to a soldier when there is no more fighting?"
"....."
"I'll tell you what happens, a disgraced existence, defined by ungratefulness and selfish judgement of the masses! They'll brand you a hero today...then a war criminal tomorrow. You saved them and their gratefulness will turn to scorn. Its how the sheep will always treat the shepard, for in their gelatinous orbs of sight, there is no difference between their protectors and the wolves, we are all dogs of WAR at the end of the day."
"And how that leads to all of this?"
"Nations will never appreciate their soldiers, they'll see them as dangerous reminders of bygone conflicts, rejection is our fate. But not here, not in Outer Heaven. A place where we are what we need to be, angels, demons, protectors, killers! A home for those that fight...because they are needed."
"I see...and the metal gear is for reassurance"
"Now you are understanding. Good. With Metal Gear, Outer Heaven will be ahead of the weapon's race and whoever is ahead gets to control the tides of power. The world will be forced to bend its knee towards us or suffer the consequences. You see, Snake...I do not desire to cause a nuclear war, the metal gear allows for concentrated but deadly attacks as to decrease the loss of life, military bases, missile silos, nuclear subs, even the white house! Nothing is out of reach. Its the greatest offense and defense. There wont be enough nukes in the world to strike this nation down, for Metal Gear will be able to stop them all and retaliate with deadly efficiency. The nations of the world will be forced to recognize and respect our sovereignty"
"This is madness, they'll send more soldiers to stop you and then what? Those soldiers will perish and what happens to your goal?!"
"And thats exactly what I desire for them to do. Send soldiers, future members of Outer Heaven, we will show them our ways, teach them our values and return them to their home nations, deciples of our new order, where glory and respect for their skills, their dedication, shall never fade. Soon soldiers will willingly defect from their nations and join ours. And in due time, it will be foolish to challenge Outer Heaven...because as a soldier...we are the only nation for them, the only sane choice at the end of the day. And eventually, nations will resume their wars among each other, it is inevitable and Outer Heaven will be there, not to end them but to strengthen them, making our nation an essential link in any sort of armed conflict on this Earth. And eventually...the world will learn to appreciate Outer Heaven, they will up at us...and thank us."
"...You're mad."

Big Boss walks steadly closer

"I didnt expect you to understand...but then again, I didnt expect you to reach this far at all as I have mentioned. You are a man full of surprises and perhaps there was a faint hope that you'd understand...and that perhaps we could still work together, Snake. Please make the right choice...and your legend may overshadow even my own"

He stops and extends his arm, hand open

Snake stares at him and raises his gun at him. The choice had been made.

"Well...They cant say there wasnt an attempt."

Big Boss's extended hand dettaches and rocket punches Snake in the face, knocking him down. He quickly gets up but Big Boss is gone.

"Very well, David. Lets see you put these skills to the test, against the man who invented them...!"

Cue a boss fight where Snake is trying to locate big boss and the outcome is that he loses, hard. Big Boss will come out of any corner or even behind you and deliver a merciful CQC strike, probably removing Snake's current weapon before running out of sight. And of course commenting on it everytime.

"Pathetic performance!"
"You still have much to learn."
"Your CQC leaves a lot to be desired!"
"Perhaps I have wasted my time with you."

Its almost like a horror sequence because all the "bad-ass" gets stripped as you are clearly facing someone that knows better and fights better.

Eventually we have David so fucked up that he is left stunned and barely standing with Big Boss ending with a swift kick to the chest.

David crashes hard on the ground and he is slowly fading. Shotgunner appears again and wants to finish off Snake but Big Boss stops him, saying that they need him to lure in Gray Fox and extract precious information.

Which lead us a torture sequence and basically this image

1760488547015.png

During it we have the revelation that destroying the computer was only temporary setback as Big Boss isnt an idiot and was aware of it, thus he has the Metal Gear not only be operated manually but also still automatically through backup systems that altho arent as complex as the supercomputer, are still capable of delivering result and he intends to declare their "independency" by nuking major political and nuclear targets all over the globe, significantly de-fanging the world and making counter-attacks unorganized and easier to stop. A birth through fire.

Eventually we have Gray Fox rescuing Snake and the last third of the game begins and the goal becomes to destroy Metal Gear itself. Things are at their darkest.

But through many trials, Snake is able to reach the Metal Gear before Big Boss could operate the machine himself, getting stopped personally by Gray Fox who tells Snake to finish the job while he confronts Big Boss. The Metal Gear is destroyed and David learns through the radio that NATO is sending a bombing squad to drop everything they got on Outer Heaven. He tries to contact the White House to explain that the impact will affect the rebels and their homes and families and that such drastic action isnt necessary anymore, METAL GEAR IS NO MORE! But the powers that be refuse to listen or believe as the deed has been done. Snake hopelessly contacts Kyle to inform that the bombers are on their way and they need to make as much distance as they can, he replies that there is no way he can move everyone in time and Snake shouts he has to do his best! Kyle thanks Snake for the warning and hopes it will make a difference and wishes him the best.

Snake runs out only to find that Gray Fox has been defeated by Big Boss. And this is where we get the "iconic" final boss between Snake and Venom Snake Big Boss

"You went too far, David, TOO FAR!!"
"The Metal Gear is destroyed. There is nothing to fight for anymore, Big Boss. Outer Heaven will become a crater in a matter of minutes! You have lost."
"And you think this will kill the dream? The napalm and explosions cant erase the idea, the spirit of Outer Heaven lives on in every man or woman that holds a gun and fights with hearts and souls! You have changed NOTHING, David!! NOTHING!"
"I've changed enough. Now step aside..."
"You are leaving here only one of two ways...as a departed spirit or with my blood on your hands. Prepare yourself David...I'll show you Hell!"

And cue the final boss fight, almost the same as before but Snake starts to adapt and come up with his own counter strategies but it should def. be finished with an explosion or a rocket launcher (as a nod that players just spam rockets at this fight in the original). Big Boss would be launched by the explosion and strike his body against the wall, near the exit. Snake can see the fight is over, Big Boss's bones are mush and he is bleeding out quickly. Snake walks to him, rage in his eyes of all this man had done, he lifts a gun and points at Big Boss.

"Urgh...what are you...waiting for...finish me. Complete...your legend."

Snake stares and slowly lowers the gun. He lifts Gray Fox on his shoulders and gives Big Boss one last look. They exchange a stare as Snake leaves.

We cut to Snake running through the wild with Gray Fox and he is barely able to outrun the explosion, the shockwave sending both men flying a bit and roll painfully on the ground. Fire rains from the skies as Snake weakly turns on the radio....and declares Operation N3N3 concluded...

"Its over now....Everything's...over now."

Snake passes out as the world burns around him and Gray Fox. The shadow of a man covers them both.

Snake comes to while he is being taken to a hospital by helicopter, he asks for Gray Fox and he is informed they didnt find anyone else with him. He insists Gray Fox is out there and he needs help but he is forced to accept reality...Gray Fox was gone.

In the hospital, we see Snake on a medical bed, quietly staring at the wall, reflecting on everything that just happened. A nurse comes to return most of his belongings and he finds a note hidden in what remains of his suit.

"The dream lives on. Lets finish this next time...Snake"

I imagine the credits roll and depending on your accomplishments and achievements, you unlock "Secret Files of Outer Heaven", basically they are bonus scenes that serve to show the aftermath. They also motivate further playthroughs to get all of these along with the gameplay bonuses you get for doing so.

"From the jaws of Death" - We see Kyle getting found among the ruins of Outer Heaven, barely clinging to life, with soldiers asking why save this man, who gave them so much trouble. And a man, revealed to be Big Boss, explains that they are all soldiers, not only that, they all lost today. And that despite everything, he respects Kyle and believes he may yet be able to serve a good cause once getting a taste of loss brought on by those in power.

"A cornered Fox..." - We see its Big Boss, looking fine as ever, that approached Snake and Gray Fox. He stares down at Snake, perhaps part of him considering killing him there but ultimately choosing not to. He places the note in the suit's belt and walks off with Gray Fox.

"Its not a matter of nations anymore, Fox, you cant run from this any longer. Why aid the enemy?"
"Snake is many things...but an enemy he isnt."

It cuts to Big Boss in a cave, looking at a dying ember while a man stands at the entrance stares at a firey hellscape at the distance, the darkness of the night making it all glow so much brighter

"Well, Im afraid the time of making a choice is at hand. They come after me, they'll soon come after you...come after her. The only world where you two will be free is the one Im providing."
"One of war."
"War of our control. No more senseless deaths, all of them will serve the greatest cause, a nation of soldiers, a nation of true heroes such as yourself."
"Spare me the nonsense, there are no heroes in this world...or yours."
"Give it time...afterall...you own me. And a fox always pays his debts."
"Indeed...But how about Snake? Why did you not kill him?"
"Why would I ever do that to the soldier that achieved the impossible? He deserves some kind of reward afterall..."
"Living through this is hardly what I'd call a reward."
"No...the reward wasnt life. The reward was a chance...to settle the score."
"So you want him to come for you."
"Yes...he'll be stronger and I'll be ready. That confrontation is his reward. And mine as well."

Big Boss gets up and walks to the man, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Come now...its time to go."

We have other endings until the final one is reached

"A duty's end"

Basically this something akin to this but maybe with less visuals. Again, this remake is very much aware of the grander lore so its not trying to hide anything by this point.

And when we reach the credits for this ending, we finally get the "post credit dialogue exchange"

*knock knock knock*
*door opens*
"Good morning, David."
"Who are you? How you know my name?"
"At ease, my name is Roy Campbell. May I come in?"
"Ghm...fine."
"Thank you. A decent home you have made for yourself here. May I take a seat?"
"Go ahead...And Im very aware of who you are, you are the new commander of Foxhound."
"Ah, I shouldnt be surprised you still remain aware of the going ons. Sharp as ever...Snake."
"What are you here for?"
"Perhaps I should just get to the point. Im afraid that there has been a...situation...and I know that you are the only one who could do the job."
"Im retired from Foxhound. I have no interest in whatever you are selling me, find someone else."
"Normally I'd respect that but you may have the right amount of skill, experience and...stakes...in this particular case. Its about him...Big Boss...he has been located."
"....Where?"
"Zanzibar Island..."
"Tell me the details..."

Then we just have

"The Story continues in..."

*cue a remix of Zanzibar Breeze*

"Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake"

Not sure if I'd give MG2 the same extensive treatment because it has a more proper plot to follow than MG1, however I may suggest changes to be made to make it a little less like MGS1. If you know it, you know it. This is hardly perfect but hopefully it was an alright effort in giving a personal perspective of what a MG1 remake could be like.

I may at least add some details to MG2 in another post, do tell me what you think of I had until now. Right now, Im a bit done with all the typing...
Hey, Solid explicitly got a nanomachine injection so he could tolerate the cold; maybe if you set an EMP off at Shadow Moses, amid all the chaos Liquid Snake would put on a sweater. There are much stupider uses of technology in this franchise.

Now I imagine Liquid with a cold, wearing a christmas sweater while Ocelot gives him hot coco

"I've told you to wear a shirt in this weather but noo."
"QUIET, Ocelot! You wont speak down to me like Im a child!"
"Keep this attitude and Santa wont bring you any gifts this year...again."
"SANTA IS NOT REAL!!"
*under his breath* "Hmph, your father believed in him..."
"What was that, Ocelot?"
"Nothing, boss...I guess we can all agree that you're-"
" *arm gesture* Complete that sentence at your own peril-"
"Pretty naughty *finger pistols and runs out the door while laughing 1760477608614.png * "
"CURSE YOU! *about to throw the mug but stops himself, chugs down the whole thing and THEN throws it at the door*
Setting aside how Skullface is basically a Jeff Dunham character, there’s zero explanation for why he’s raging at Zero like it’s personal.

And his whole worship of The Boss is so forced. In PO and PW Big Boss is still building his myth, but by MGS5? Everybody’s still stuck on nostalgia for The Boss?? Come on.

It made sense that the Snake Eater crew felt that way about her and I could buy Strangelove too but feels like too many others were feeling that way to the point it almost makes her a Christ like figure.

And yes, she does seem like the type of unironically laugh at minion memes while looking at a tablet (then call John in the radio to ask how she can "like" meme)

"Boss, I dont think this is a good time"
"Are you saying me asking your aid isnt a good time? I've raised you better than that."
"*insert david hayter annoyed growl* Fiiine...*looks at soldiers torturing him for information* Can you guys hold up a minute? Its a parental emergency"
"No problem. We can continue after you are done."
That'd be another fun concept for an interstitial game. They run into each other when they're all trying to track down the same AI girlfriend; bad news about your LDR, guys, but now you have comrades in arms.

It starts with this

Then continues with this

Then ends with this

"Well, bitches, are we right? I have heard the cure for male loneliness is becoming a Cyber Ninja, lets try that out, bros."
" *in synch* Sounds good"
