between destiny and this guy now, I will never trust a nigga with a number at the end of his name
This guy unironically seems very lulzy. It feels like it's a matter of time until he crosses the threshold to True & Honest cow territory, if he hasn't already. Those spergouts from him against people in his comment sections are really something.

the desperate rebrand is what gathers my intrest, alot of his videos seem to be reuploads of his old work so that the metal gear fanbase is separated from his main work, is bizzare that someone keeps reinventing themselves this much and thinking they'll be fine afterwards

Pretty surprising to see a Japanese woman having kids at that age. This is the country that once thought women were outdated after 25. Apparently the new term is New Year's Noodles (31).
I don't know that that second photo was actually taken some 20 years after the first one. They chose the photos they wanted to replace the old ones, so who knows how old she actually is there.

Her first son wasn't born till 2021, and the second in 2024. So it's likely a photo taken from then.

I'd be concerned about something potentially being wrong with your setup. I don't mean to continually bring it up, but I've not crashed a single time and got Foxhound twice on an underpowered Steam Deck.
It's very likely a DLSS issue as this was the case with the recent Robocop games. I disabled it for Robocop but for some reason everything became washed out and gray, so it was either play with crashes every couple of hours or really shitty graphics and a worse framerate. The Steam Deck can't do DLSS natively so that's likely why it doesn't have that issue. But I've no interest in playing Delta on either my LCD or OLED decks given how poor the performance has been.

I've been playing for 23 hours now and haven't had a single crash. The game runs stable at all ultra settings except shadows, which I turn down to high. That being said, with them on ultra it only dips down to maybe 45 FPS, I mostly turned them off because I think they were causing a weird issue where everything that moved would get like super blurry for a few minuets.

Unless that's like...something else with UE5. It happened a lot with Oblivion Remastered too for me so maybe it's not just shadows. Don't think it's upscaling either because I tend to turn that shit off but I don't know if I actually can in Delta.

Edit: Spoke too soon. Game just crashed on me and now crashes on every load. Going to restart my PC and hope that fixes it.

Fitgirl repacks had a good version of it. Delta is definitely a competent remake, looks great, keeps a little of the old clunk but updates enough to keep it from being tedious. SH2 should have been something similar, don't know why they raped it so much. The subtle censorship and changes are completely unnecessary though, and the trigger warning you have to see every startup about the game's content being """""out-dated"""" (by whose determination?) is cringe. Glad I 7-Seas'd it, the base game isn't exactly long and trying to normalize Goytendo's 70 dollar "we have to account for globalism dying" price hike is something I will not endorse.

The timer to the inevitable crash resets each time you boot up the game. So if you've been playing for less than a couple hours at a time, you're fine. UE5 in general is a janky piece of shit.

What is the problem? In the original you just used the d-pad to move in stalking mode.
They created quick menus for the radio and camo but in doing so left no room for stalking on the d-pad. The controls on modern are a weird mishmash if you're used to playing the original.

This is the least offensive of the remakes I've played in the last few years, but this should have been a layup for Konami. I wish companies would stop hiring these retarded consultants and focus groups to modernize their games.

not getting delta until a sale, i just played through MGS 3 for the first time a few months back and the changes don't seem to warrant $70. it does look like it'd be fun though.

i know MGS V isn't super popular in this thread but i think it's pretty great. the movement and control layout has always stuck out to me for some reason. just got to africa and damn the atmosphere at night is phenomenal in that first mission.

The moment-to-moment gameplay is pretty highly regarded as generally the best of the series, minus some complaints about the lack of more big sweeping infiltration setpieces. The story and its' pacing (or lack thereof) within missions & side-ops is generally more what's controversial.

In that regard is like MGS3 but on steroids: disarm, freezing, throwing and new ones like consecutive cqc.

Also, today marks exactly 10 years since MGSV's release. Fitting it comes up here again.
