Is the main MGS theme not in it? I skimmed through a review and they said several of the OST is out.

Like, completely gone or have the tracks been replaced?

IIRC, the MGS theme had a copyright shitstorm years ago, because it apparently sounded pretty similar to some Russian composition.

That's what I'm expecting which is why it wasn't in MGS4.

I don't know how the fuck you do the MGS2 title screen intro and not fucking have that playing. Just pay the licensing fee you cheap fucking bugmen.

What's there to debate? It's an obvious fact. Did you see the way Boss sperged out at that pistol? If he hadn't joined the military he'd be some weird gun fud living in the woods designing firearms and eating rats.

Solid seems more high functioning but just barely. He is clearly addicted to JAV models.

Snake never struck me as autistic in MGS or MGS2. I don't really even recall it much in MGS4, but I didn't go through all the codecs in it nearly enough to be sure about some secret shit in there.

Big Boss was an autistic emo kid the second he became playable and it never let up.
 
Watched Gman's review of the Master Collection. I didn't hear him mention cut music, so maybe he's just a MGS noob. MGS2-3 are unchanged from the HD col. So it's just a port of that. MGS1 runs like how the PAL version did so it's noticeably sluggish compared to the snappy 60hz.

He said you can play different versions of MGS1 like Integral but he said he didn't have access to those so he doesn't know if those player at a higher hz.

I'll try it once I am home, but based on what Ive heard it does have all 3 isos inside, US, JP and EU so I assume it only plays at 50 with that one.
Also apparently the collection fixes some small graphical glitches that were in the ps3/360 one, mostly some problems with alpha textures

He said MGS2 and MGS3 have slightly faster loads but it's not incredible leaps in speed.

Weird they included multiple versions of MGS1. All the streamers play Integral usually and I've never played that version. He also said the game is fucking ugly and everything has a weird blur to it and did comparisons. The PS1 version on emulator looks better.

There's some scenes with camera focus shifting, like in the Tank scene with Raven and it looks terrible.

May or may not buy it Friday. I didn't realize it was $60. Retarded for 20-25 year old games. Especially when they're just lazy ports they didn't even polish.

I assume that the only reason the EU iso is there is because MGS1 actually has dubs for each of the languages, and some people do remember those dubs fondly, so if they want to play with that at least they have the option.

HD col didn’t feel much faster than PS2. The constant pausing of MGS3 makes the game really slow since it has to boot in Snake and all the camos.
