You could just pirate MG and MG2 like I did back in 2002

They're the better versions with the original names and hollywood character portraits.
 
I still have my ps3 and a copy of the hd collection for it and one for the vita.
MGS2 on vita isnt great framerate wise, but 3 plays fine, better than how it ran on the ps2 at least so it doesnt take long to get used to it.
 
konami only has to pretty it up mgs3 and dont touch a fucking thing about the game and ill buy it full fucking price. that should be easy, right?

And in terms of writing let us not forget that Rising was mostly written by somebody else and was way better thanost of Kojima's dreck.

With all the shit MPO unjustly gets, it at least felt like it was moving toward that and he even name drops Outer Heaven in the ending.

PW was Kojimbo and his loli hentai and gay fantasies with Paz being lusted after both Snake and Miller, not to mention the two fellas fucking each other in the cardboard box. And lest we forget the whole game was a suck fest of Che. It really baffles me why it's loved so much when the only thing it has going for it is fun gameplay for a handheld. But MG is carried 50% by it's plot and characters. It's snoozefest anime bullshit story was only outdone by vocal cord parasites and a protagonist that was played by an actor that appears to have billed several thousand dollars per word.

Also, someone else asked if they would be sold separately, based on the steam page it seems like yes, tho they dont actually have prices and say "N/A" so maybe its just made that way so you can download them by themselves

I'd be happy if it was just a straight port to Fox engine or something. It's criminal how good that engine is but how underused.

I thought it looked really good in GZ but it looked like it had it's balls cut off for TPP. I think a lot of that was the fact they kept it on third gen and neutered it.

That would be ideal. Don't reinvent the wheel when MGS3's gameplay isn't even dated imo. The free camera of the HD collection made it even better.

I mentioned before but the few screens they shared did make it look like they were just retexturing everything over the original wireframe models. The only thing I would want to change if that was the case is add new camos and outfits. And please don't completely fuck up character faces like Capcom has done with the bulk of the characters in the remakes.

Fun gameplay, solid dialogue (for Metal Gear) with a lighthearted tone. It is also a very straightforward plot despite the absurdities which was refreshing for Metal Gear. Kojima pivoted right back into 2smart4u meta shit with V and it pissed people off just like it did when 2 came out.

I doubt that the Switch port of MGS 3 would ever change the Fox Engine, as it's probably going to remain the same.

im replaying the game right now and this shit is indefensible. the entire fox hound storyline is fucking retarded
 
Today i learned that if You go into perv mode fighting the bandb corps they die instead of getting into a sleep. Now i legit feel like shit. Thanks, kojimbo
