I did it. I pulled the trigger and bought a 22 suppressor on Silencer Shop. I found a local gun store in my area that will do a 4473 on it without me having to deal with the ATF Form 4! I absolutely cannot wait for it to arrive, but now I have to take the arduous journey to find a good 22 pistol I should put it on (I'm leaning between either the TX22 and Ruger Mark IV).

I donated an additional one dollar to the silencer shop foundation for their troubles :semperfidelis:
I just picked up my first suppressor, and I didn't fill out a single ATF paper! I'm excited for the day I take this thing to an outdoor range. It's so cool to have a NFA item in my possession legally without having sign the ATF shit!

The finish is kind of a fingerprint magnet, but I like the way it looks. The suppressor feels so light in my hands

where's the FRT wildman?

FRT's and bump stocks are currently illegal in my state. We have so many gay, retarded state gun laws that the Republicans refuse to repeal despite having holding an MAJORITY in the entire state legislature. Fucking useless niggers
i didn't get the MP5 FRT for the similar legal grey gay area bullshit. regardless you're gonna love it bro

an interesting video about the "ring of fire" cheapo handguns and the extreme amounts of drama and intrigue that surrounded them.
Not gonna lie, I really dig the zinc and the pearl grips on these Saturday night specials.

I remember an old post on the Bryco-Jennings-Jimenez forum (RIP) where the poster got 11k+ rounds down the pipe of his J-22 before it irreparably broke, which for a pistol he probably paid $40 for is getting your money's worth imo.

Bruce Jennings himself, on the other hand...

VPs Cactus jack garner and Truman examine a pair of revolvers formerly owned by Frank James. Truman bought them from a doctor's wife in missouri who had taken the revolvers on trade from Frank James after he retired from Outlawry. Cactus Jack was one of FDR's 3(?) vice presidents. he famously said that the Vice presidency "wasn't worth a warm pitcher of piss".

I've been browsing bass pro's used guns and there's some gems. There's a trap door rifle, arisaka, some mannerlichers from ww1, and overpriced sks. Almost wonder the story of these guns if they're estate sales or family death's just tossed onto the market.
Cabela's online listings on guns international has some good deals on odd ball stuff. anything military is overpriced of course but there are deals to be had on nice sporting rifles.

A mildly interesting find in the used gun cabinet at my local Sportsmans Warehouse.

Am I retarded or is this a full size P250 slide+barrel on a Compact frame? I asked the gun counter clerk about it but he was less than helpful, his major contribution to the conversation was "well thats how the p320 is"

I took these pictures and left. I swear if they didnt constantly have interesting shit in their gun cabinet like this and previously a .40 S&W SIG P226, I would never go in there, I constantly walk around like Ron Swanson in Lowes.

That is in fact a P250 with a compact frame and full size slide. Good pistols too.

You didn’t put in your SSN did you?
Does putting the SSN hurt things?

My shit always takes at least 45 minutes at big name gun stores but the few times I've done garage FFLs it's instant.

Though I was born overseas to Americans working outside of the country so I always figured it was that. I always get looks with my birth country because I am white as can be.

If your name is something common like John Smith or Juan Garcia there’s almost certainly multiple prohibited persons with the same name. The SSN or BATFE pin assists with alleviating the risk of a delay.

People who possess a security clearance tend to get delayed too. Why that is I’m not sure.
