I will never understand PSA haters. You literally get what you pay for.
Could pay 5 times as much and get worse if you buy a sig. I own a fucking larue, I'm far from a poor fag my 300 is PSA stuff because it's a backpack gun and you know what? It's great for that. If you accept a little blem fitting etc you're good. Also if you know how to polish etc saving a good clip.

Lastly I support them for arming the poor and doing so much for gun rights.

How many faggots buy a hat brand because it's the official of sports ball? No one gives them shit.

That being said huge W it looks and lord willing this new gun shit sticks, if it gets no SBR I'll buy some random ass cheap rifle and live stream me fucking sawing it down on live stream.

I've literally never owned or handled a PSA that didn't come with assembly issues, but the parts are... never dangerous to use even at their worst. A had a BCA explode in my face.

$500 gun, $500 value. Occasionally a $500 gun on sale for $400 that is generally fixable.

I am a genuine fan of their ammo though.

Oddly having built a few I've seen some absolutely perfect uppers never a perfect lower but all were as you said serviceable and safe.

But as you said you get what you pay for and if you need a shooter you get a shooter.

I definitely want to get one of those H&R retro AR reproductions of the Colt 607 from PSA. Or possibly the 607 lower with an XM177E2 upper, but swap the round handguard for the 607 triangular handguard. And get a real sound modulator for it, not just a flash hider replica.

Can’t say without doxxing myself but it was ammo related and scarily unsafe.

I think that explains much of the PSA hate from the snobs who spent $3k for theirs that does the same thing.
over about 6 or 700 (For AR15s) you're paying for finish quality and better QC. My LMT didn't function any better than my PSA M4gery but it was certainly better finished and there wasn't a single out of spec thing on it. My PSA, while perfectly function has a shitty finish that i can scratch with my finger nails and a dust cover out of spec so much that it won't close and the M4 plastic handguards are not quality parts/

So is it now legal to just straight up put a (((stock))) on a (((pistol)))?
Only if you own (or purchase) a pistol that you, personally, purchased directly from PSA, are a member of GOA, and ideally live in the 5th circuit. You also need to live in a state with no additional rules regarding SBRs/NFA items

Or you could not let the government tell you how you can exercise your natural rights.

They sure as fuck don't tell all those niggers posting their automatic pistols on social media anything.

Yep. That said with an AR as long as the upper and lower are in spec everything is fixable.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=AqAYMhyQBEUThis is what I bought, yes it's expensive. In this case you get what you pay for.
Good choice. I'll get a G$ Super duty upper soon enough

Yep. A KAK / a QC'd PSA, a S&W M&P-15 and a Zion 15 are all fine under $1k.

does anyone have any info on the engraving requirements?

Seems marginal at best right now if you still have to engrave but I can't find a concrete answer.

Notice how PSA doesn't mention engraving..... which is marginal at best.

(if only the ATF who knew this would happen published guidance!)
The ruling is interesting since relief from engraving and serialization is called out separately and only granted to the Jensen v. ATF plaintiffs and their members. (possibly not to open the door for PSA to stop engraving all their guns)
This probably also explains why PSA is currently advising their customers that simply buying a stock from them and putting it on someone else's gun doesn't count and it has to be one of their guns/receivers (because that already fulfills the serialization requirements which they still must abide by for "PSA customer" SBRs). The extra request to be a GOA member seems a bit excessive since they are both co-plaintiffs in the Silencershop case.

So, in theory? Until there's clarified guidance on this from the ATF, membership in the GOA would cover commercial purchases just fine but an individual wanting to avoid the engraving/serialization requirement for self-made silencers and SBRs would have to be a member of the FPC Action Foundation to get the extra Jensen v. ATF specific protections.

Government: We will throw you in jail for the rest of your life if you don't obey the law.
American: What is the law?
Government: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, I know, this just happened and we're waiting for clarification. Still though.

Haven't got a 607 yet, but H&R's 604 is worth the money. Really nicely built, just bare in mind that the furniture feels kinda airsofty. It doesn't seem fragile, and I took it to a local larperator match and it survived just fine, but it doesn't feel as robust as the surplus GI furniture I've owned before.
