For parts kit builders though, this is a godsend. Get your GOA membership, ans build away knowing that everything you make can look exactly the way its supposed to. It matters a lot when "the vibes" are a large part of why one would build out a parts kit.
Some guns might straight up not work with them.
This was the big one that Ian Mcforgottonweapons-man Adressed when the question was posed to him. Everyone knows what a shotgun is, and what a shotshell is, and how they work. There's also a massive range in quality, tuning, and age of the shotguns out there. Its a feat enough that you can buy about any shell off the shelf, stick it in your gun, and run it. Manufacturers are leary about doing anything exotic because theres a good chance it will flat out not work in a lot of guns

Some Boomer on one of the forums posted this monstrosity:

Select fire M14 with a drum.

There's a screaming deal on a real Lemat revolver on guns international rn. they only want 15k for it. they would go on to make pinfire lemats, but those are cursed.

From what I can tell, nationwide.
It hasn't reached that point, though. However, this is Texas. And the Fifth Circuit, which I virtually guarantee will be amenable to the argument the District Court accepted. And then it goes to SCOTUS, and with pretty much the most favorable view of the Second Amendment as any SCOTUS has had. I'm mildly optimistic about this.

Drove up to pick up my new Ronin Leather holster for my Python this morning. Dave, the guy who made it, is a helluva great guy. We stood around and shot the shit (not literally) for about an hour. Got to meet his two puppers, a Mastiff and a Husky. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It's even nicer than I pictured in my head. Dave is truly talented at what he does and could easily be charging much, much more for his work than he does. For example, he only asked for $375 to make my holster. I will for sure be ordering more from him. I'm probably going to get another holster pretty much identical to this one for my Staccato, only in black cherry crocodile belly instead of the OD green this one is in, and a matching double magazine pouch to go with it. I haven't decided which of his models I'm going to get for my Dan Wesson Specialist, but I'm leaning towards his Ridgie, which is his take on a holster design that was very popular with Rhodesian and South African troopers back in the day who carried 1911s and BHPs, including some in the Selous Scouts, and I'm considering elephant hide for that one.

Anyways, here's a couple photos of it.

CMP update:
  • well over 100,000 M14 rifles.
  • Price will be under 2,000 USD per gun
  • 2 M14s per person per year
  • early 2027, CMP is preparing infrastructure for the high demand expected
  • shotguns coming too, from all branches.
  • currently DOD is sorting all shotguns for things they want to donate
  • 2,000 or 3,000 shotguns coming from the army
  • ETA this fall
  • 498 are Winchester 1897 trench guns
  • 1911 lifetime limit to 2 per person per year.
  • 1911 Inventory remains high.
It's a shame those trench guns will be hard to come by and expensive. Whether I want one of the M14s will depend on just how much under $2000 they are.

M9 surplus when
Only the most GWOT edit pilled nostalgic tards would want surplus M9 when you can buy a better pistol of the same family that is barely used or even new. Maybe if the surplus M9 was like $100...

Jensen isn't an argument about the 2nd Amendment though, its based upon Sonzinsky v United States and United States v Constantine.
Sonzinsky v US upheld the NFA as a valid act of Congress under their ability to make and levy taxes, while Constantine was reversed as it was Congress using their power to tax as a police power rather than an actual tax (there was a $25 charge for liquor licenses that were legal under state law vs $1000 for liquor licenses in violation of state law). The court found that due to the fact that the NFA's tax was now $0 it was no longer following Sonzinsky since it wasn't actually a tax anymore, but instead was like Constantine where they are using their ability to tax ($0) as a police power (nonregistration is 10 years in jail). That is why they only ruled on Suppressors, SBRs, and SBSes, since those all have $0 stamps.

Looks like I don’t have to spend $10k on a transferrable anymore. How much are semi auto bricks on a stick?

The customer is always right in matters of taste.

Glad you love it bro, but that is some of the ugliest leather I've ever seen. The craftsmanship looks great, but the green gator looks like ratty tartan.
