If this new ruling sticks and suppressors and SBRs/SBSs are finally legally treated like any other firearm (as they always fucking should have been), I definitely have some plans. I've always wanted to get an Auto-5 or Remington Model 11 and do a Clyde Barrow "whippet gun" and a Mad Max-style double barrel sawed-off. I also have always wanted a Stevens Model 520 riot/trench gun. It will be really nice to be able to do those projects and only ever have to worry about sourcing the guns, and not have to do retarded paperwork, laser engraving, and waiting for approval.

I plan on "SBR"ing a G17L with those stupid Isreali stocks (not the cobra one, this), I also want a mad max style double and a over/under cut down. I genuinely can't wait to see what kind of stupid shit comes to market if the ruling sticks. Possible golden age of PDWs and SBS's incoming

Does this mean that faggot mark serbu will re-release the serbu shorty again? I still hate him for discontinuing that "gun" because he hated making it.

For those wanting sawn off O/U and SxS guns: it’ll cost a good amount of money to do it right.

You’ll have to have the hole between the barrels plugged, the ribs most likely will need to be relaid and the thinnest parts of the barrel walls will now be at the new muzzle, meaning denting your barrel will be very easy to do. The thinness will also make any kind of exchangeable choke tube impossible to mount. Probably at least 1k to get this done correctly.

I suspect that if this sticks, many shotgun manufacturers, perhaps even some from a country that isn't Turkey, will make factory sawed-offs so you don't have to futz around with chopping your own gun and making it perfect.

I will absolutely get one of those stocks for my FK BRNO PSD, the one that's kind of like the stocks for the Beretta 93r but with a different attachment method. Plan on getting one anyways, but I'd rather just be able to buy the fucker and use it without having to do the paperwork and get the laser engraving.

Who is going to worry about chokes on a sawed-off with 10" barrels? Chokes on a weapon intended for conversation range seems kinda pointless to me. I mean, I guess they could be useful, but if you're wanting something that takes chokes it would probably be better to go for a full-size combat shotgun with an 18" barrel.

Back before NFA there were some companies that made factory short barreled shotguns with cute names like "shopkeeper's friend" and "home defender", things like that. If they become just a normal shotgun again, I have no doubt they'll become available again. CZ makes pretty great side-by-side shotguns, even with exposed hammers, and I could totally see them doing that.

The Ithaca Auto & Burglar was probably the last of its kind. There's some kind of poetic justice that they may be legal now that carjacking is once again a massive problem.

>10 inch barrels

3 inches is AVERAGE

Gross. Wait on Flux Raider to make their model.

I’ve got a Model 11 with an 18.25” barrel that is marked 28”. Serial number is from the 1920s and I bought it at a pawnshop in Appalachia for $100. I wish it could talk to tell me its stories.

Flux has been saying they'd make a gen 5 glock model for years and we're now on glock gen 6

To be fair, if I had been running the company would have scrapped the entire project the moment the Ruger RXM came out and told them to redirect their efforts.

If the NFA gets repealed I expect an apology from each and every nigger faggot that gave me a rainbow sticker when I made this prediction

Yeah. I've done a few SBS but I still haven't done my own choke threading. Its prohibitively expensive unless you're doing like a dozen of them or have access to a lathe. Cutting OD threads is fairly easy but choke threading tools are $250-300 minimum just for the cutting bits not to mention the handles, pilot/alignment tools etc.
