Look at that beautiful plum patina on that Leupold. I love when bluing turns to plum. you don't see it anymore now that the bluing process is so refined.
Well done sporterized 1917. Look at how slender the wrist is. probably feels great in the hand.

Ordered up a guardsman pistol lower for my 300 Kanye. Legit cheaper than parts should be a week or two.
Not sure how I'll feel about the flat trigger. I have a spare polished LPK some triggers and rando grips if I hate it but full deal 150 and my ffl is cheap/free.

your what?
300 black(ed)out
I wanted a "pistol" for a bag gun and have a gem tech can already, plus I reload so figured I'll try see if it's meme worthy. Honestly as a day bag gun I'll probably not shoot it suppressed in a SD situation. Right now has an a2 on it gonna worry about deets after I shoot it.

Been over analyzing the damn thing.

I don't understand why people want the mp7 when the TMP exists.
B&T USA is going under after B&T won the lawsuit. It’s going to take a while to get B&T products back in the US.
People bellyache about the price of 5.7 and meme on it for being hyper expensive. I don’t think fucking 4.6 is gonna do so hot.
4.6mm the last time I checked was somewhere between $0.50 to $0.60 a round for FMJ target ammo. 5.7mm is a pain because factory made rounds to FN specs use a glued bullet and has to be coated with a dry lubricant that isn’t cheap. As far as I know 4.6mm doesn’t have that problem but just has terrible ballistics out of a hand gun.

That said, because no real pistol of a 4.6mm exists, the AP ammo could be considered a “non-pistol” round as long as the civilian versions are SBRs. Food for thought.

Though the correct take on this is bout 4.6 and 5.7 are memes and backpack PDW larpers should stick to H&K SP5s.

TMP > MP7

Been doing a lot more shoot lately. Took out my revolvers today and shot some .357 I found in my dad's stash. I am reminded why I don't. Plus side, it does shoot out of the SW19 (I only did a couple).

Also, I am ludicrously more accurate with the SW19 than with any other pistol I own, and I don't even consider myself a revolver guy. What is up with that?

Revolvers are generally heavier, with longer barrels and better triggers so most people are more accurate with them.

The barrel is also fixed which aids accuracy as well.

.357 mag is a mild cartridge.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this guys stuff before, but it is interesting to say the least. He designed a prototype .300 Blackout gun. He mentioned that he intends to make a semi-auto version as well.
finally someone fits a stanag mag inside the fucking grip. it just makes so much sense and is so cool i've been waiting for something like this to happen

Why in the hell would you do this? new walnut M1 stocks are readily available! 🤢🤮
anyone who likes wood of this color is extremely mentally deficient. it looks deader than a plastic stock, even. it's sad cuz this depressing ass shit has found its way unto every floor of every building built after like 2016

better shaped grips too, no fat mag in there. back in the 60s and before they were favored over semiautos because the grip shape & angle supposedly made one handed point shooting much easier

revolvers give you +50% to accuracy and +50% to crit but you lose it if you fire the gun in single action. you can achieve similar results with a semi auto by holding it sideways, which increases your crit chance by +50% at the expense of -50% accuracy. it's why the cartels do it. this is also why people think it's a powerful cartridge, because the extra crit makes things explode like a cartoon, despite it being a gun you can fire one handed

New SMLE i picked up for 200 dollars, place i bought it from listed it as a gunsmith special but the only thing that was wrong was the flat spring for the bolt head release had the screw loose so it prevented the bolt from going all the way back, fixed that now all I need is a new forend.

Are you sure it's a sporterized M1917 and not a Remington Model 30? Remington was a primary manufacturer for the M1917 and took the design, simplified it some for sporting shooters, and released it on the commercial market as the Model 30 after their military contracts were up and the war was over. They then simplified it again to make the Model 720.

Unless they went above and beyond and scrubbed all the Rs and flaming bombs, I'll agree it seems to be a Model 30. But they also case hardened the receiver so it's not too farfetched.

Also on the subject of cheapo sporting guns, I want a Model 600. The sight rib is pretty badass.
