That's a nice looking revolver. Any idea what the manufacture and model name is?I've posted about this a few times but I finally did it.
My dad died a couple years ago, and some time later I found a S&W 19-3 buried in some of his stuff, completely disassembled, in somewhat rough condition. I have no idea where he got it. He was a machinist in his earlier life and did a lot of his own gun work, so I think he might have bought it off somebody to fix. I reassembled it as far as I could, but ran into a problem and ended up taking it to a gunsmith. Glad I did because there was a safety issue that was above my pay grade to fix or even recognize. They fixed it, I did some test firing, and then took it to have it refinished. I just got it back. Behold.

It's not quite like new, there's still light pitting in a few areas that can't be seen here and a couple nicks. But I think it came out pretty well overall. Going to take it to the range this week.
I know some turboautist here can probably dox me down to the atomic level with this post, so uh... just don't do that I guess?
