Funny you say that, I read his post and was about to agree with you. I've seen plenty of bolt guns and ARs in .350 Legend here. In Michigan the law just changed to allow necked ammo throughout the state news source
what killed 7 backcountry is that it can't be reloaded. hunters that are enticed by the magnums (especially new magnums) all want to reload ammo so they can tune their load to their rifle for ultimate accuracy with their chosen bullet (which might not be on offer w/ commercial loads).

I hadn't heard that. Never been much of a fan of Weatherby rifles (because of the styling mostly) and cartridges for what ever reason. I know some of their guns in the past have had accuracy problems.
It's the most successful of the new-ish hunting chamberings, but it's still lagging behind due to a lack of general interest. Rifles chambered in .350 Legend are half the price of standard which is typically a bad sign.
It depends on the brand, I distinctly remember Brown Bear had wildly inconsistent deformation. It works though.
Awkward styling and crazy barrel lengths to the fraction of an inch. I think Weatherby is run by the mentally disturbed.
Their value-priced Vanguard line is pretty solid for the price, but that's mostly due to the fact that they're Howa 1500s with fancier rollmarks.
