Have you thought about spending money on sights instead Dude?
Aim has K31's for 280 right now, I"m having a hard time talking my self out of one.
Mags first. Optics and sights I can get if There's ever another AWB.

My credit card was finally charged today, after I confirmed the arrangement of the two parties exchanging FFL info.
I hope that means they're actually sending one instead of taking my money and running.

A part of me said "Just get a Mossberg or Remington pump" but I said fuck it.
Nothing wrong with these, but I figured why the fuck not? Semi-auto, uses a common as dirt cartridge, detachable magazines, customizable, True Russian-made AK style, you get the drill.

What kind? The HK11 as pictured?
The VEPR-12 I have is pretty badass so far, although with only one US compliance part (gas puck) I'm stuck using 5 round magazines. I'm going to order a US made trigger assembly and perhaps change the pistol grip and stock for a one-piece wooden stock, when I get around to it. Then I'll have myself only 10 imported parts on the list and be able to legally use any magazine I want.
I saw you said mags first with the Steyr AUG but 922r is probably a good idea if I want to actually use them.

The AUG comes factory 922r compliant.
As for my next rifle I've decided to get the LMT MWS308. It does pretty much the same thing as the HK11, but for lest with better accuracy. It's the same rifles the British Army adopted as the L129A1 marksman rifle.
