It's so sad nothing happened with the reboot than the little ova we got in 2016 and an alleged ezy trailer. It looked really good.
yeah that little one-off thing with the alternate SV-2 seemed a nice enough proof-of-concept
the CG def works better for Patlabor where a lot of the animation has been very limited,
iirc it had a decent sense of mass, esp handicapping for CG, I think I heard it was the Exiled From Paradise crew doing the robots?

I still need to watch TNG

TNG is only ok, i couldnt find a decent englisb sub version for it, the ones i found were jap>chinese>english and only for a few episodes.

if there were some good subtitles i'm sure i'd have enjoyed it more.

Yeah last I checked there was crabstick for the whole thing, good subs for an ep or two and maybe the movei?

I'm watching Raideen right now, and it's pretty fun. It picked up a lot once they introduced Mutropolis and the Bluegar; they're really cool. They also have what are basically bioships!

Some crossposting but it is the birthday of this character

Gonna start today Gasaraki, the only thing I know about it is the mecha designer. I hope I like it
It's a neat show. It feels very prophetic as far as the Middle East stuff that occurs in it. It's a bit on the dry side, which doesn't work for everyone, but I quite like it. You're gonna learn a lot about grain economics and noh theater though.

Watched the first 3 episodes blind and it was interesting. Then I went to MAL to check out the staff and it was written and directed by the same guys who did FLAG, which I love it.

It is quite mysterious but I liked the mecha. The third episode was the best so far

Shinkalion CW Power Rankings:
Doctor Yellow
Hades Shinkalion
E8 Tsubasa
E5 Hayabusa
Phantom Shinkalion
N700S Kamome
E6 Komachi
H5 Hayabusa
500 Kodama
E7 Kagayaki

Also, nuWataru had lots of robot action in the first episode, so this could automatically be the best Wataru show since the main issue with the other Wataru shows is only using the robots in the last few minutes. Let's hope this continues, but a part of me is worried that won't happen.
