In a really bizarre twist, Keffals has made himself so openly detestable to so many people that I think it's very possible that he has managed to make a couple of people MATI enough to actually threaten him (and maybe even actually try to hurt him), all of which ironically all feeds into his victim complex in a self-fulfilling prophecy. It boggles the mind that some mid-sized Twitch streamer who largely just mugs at himself in the webcam for hours of dead air has managed to cause this much damage and gather this much power just because he cut his dick off, all because people who do that are currently given a godlike status under threat that if we don't let them do whatever they want to whomever they want, they'll off themselves. I also can't help but think that karma is a bitch and all this insanity will inevitably bite Keffals and others like him who abuse people's goodwill towards trans people on the ass.

The unfortunate reality that unless and until the right gets off it's ass and manages to create a parallel Internet this will keep happening. If such a thing can even happen is questionable, both because of the outside pressures for it not to happen and because of internal laziness and unwillingness to spend the money to make it happen. I was pleasantly suprised to hear about the new data center going up, but there needs to be more than that. DDoS protection, captchas, software, apps. Saying this is just useless dumb screaming into the void because it's not something you can point to one p person or thing and say "you need to do this" and I especially don't know what non-tech laypersons like myself can do other than throw money at Null and. But I know that relying on the goodwill of people who don't clearly and openly support things like free speech and defending customers is not going to work.

I agree to an extent. I don't really think the political leanings of the prospective creator of this new Internet would matter. Of course, a free speech advocate generally leans more right but the fact is it doesn't matter what their politics are as long as they have some fucking principles and integrity, things which are sorely lacking on the modern Web.
