All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

Hillary Clinton is literally diagnosed with dementia.
I haven't touched this thread at all because it might give me cancer (or demantia?), but that is obviously horse shit.

Diagnoses? "Diagnosis" is used by almost all doctors. "Interim Meidcal History" closes with a crippled sentence fragment. No signature. No explanation of how "the patient scored lower" and what test was done.

I don't like Clinton at all, but that's just retarded. Where did this come from?

As you can see from the NYT source, the reported letter does not have the header, while I am anti-Hillary, we should be careful to not get too overboard especially on unreliable sources.

Call me a sperg all you want, but even if Hillary is a crooked career politician (oxymoron I know) who fights dirty, that only makes her look better to me. Obama's main problem? He was just too nice and in international politics nice guys do indeed finish last.

I'll take a devious supervillian who is competent at international politics over a guy who's the political equivalent of Chris waving around his pepper spray in a Gamestop over Sonic's arms any day.

It'll be more than that, potentially. Roger Stone is on record as saying they're knowingly laying the seeds of civil unrest with this whole "rigged election" crap they keep spewing. If they can't win they're hoping they can convince enough people that Clinton is illegitimate that they can force her out of office.

Dumb source, but Stone actually did say that.

For the record, there is no "widespread voter fraud" also.

Either way, I agree, it will be lulzy as shit watching the internet Trump brigade bitch and moan and cry conspiracy like a bunch of sheep, never mind Trump himself who's "I lost" speech is bound to be the most hilarious thing to ever hit the airwaves.

If he tries to get his supporters to overthrow the government all that would happen is them dying from a bad case of just got flattened by a tank. Unless the military as one decides to overthrow the country for him that just plain isn't going to work. At best he could hope for a long insurgency, which I'd argue the US 4-year election cycle takes away a lot of the incentive for. More than likely his supporters will just do what the losing side always does, cry and moan for a while and then start prepping for the next election.

every single time I tell someone they're a cunt everyone assumes I'm just frothing with rage

Nah, we assume you're just like that 24/7.

McMullin is going to target Utah heavily, being from the state and Mormon, which is great, since Johnson's position on abortion and marijuana make it difficult for a lot of Mormons to enthusiastically support him. McMullin working on Utah and Johnson working nationally could be very interesting, especially because I've been hearing a lot of rumors about the Bushes (41, 43, and Jeb) getting ready to publicly endorse Johnson.

Interestingly, Johnson seems to hurt Clinton more at this point, based on the numbers I've seen. It mostly looks like it's because he pulls away younger voters from her who can't stand Trump; i.e. in a two-way race, they pick Clinton, but in a three- or four-way, they pick Johnson.

Well the rumor going around is that Clintons fall from several years ago was actually a stroke, 6 months afterwards she resigned her position as Obama's State Department Head.

This is probable considering the recent shots of her needing help climbing stairs, as well as having an aide with a Diazepam injector present, which is consistent with post-stroke symptoms. But of course they'll never say anything because it could jeopardize her chances on the polls.

That first photgraph was taken last winter, making entirely possible the staffers were helping her up the steps so as not to slip. The fact the only media outlets that are pursuing this story are the likes of Drudge, Sean Hannuty and Infowars. That's a big ass redflag. Until her doctor is rebutted by another doctor, I don't think most of these claims hold water.
Also notice how nobody questions Trump boasting he only gets like 4 hours of sleep a night, and that shit is a very unhealthy habit.

Yeah you're right, Doctor's never lie, hippopotamus oath and all that. Wait how is another Doctor allowed to access the records of another patient in order to claim a rebuttal in the first place?

Also Trump getting 4 hours of sleep a night isn't surprising when 44% of the elderly apparently have insomia at some level.

I'm curious if there's similar "we say we're really right" going into Polls Say Brexit Clearly Losing.

We now have less than 3 months for Donald to clean up his act and somehow make up for the last 2 months of unforced errors.

Hillary is running a tighter stronger campaign and Donald does not even have a ground game. A lot of Republicans won't vote for Donald, and there has been no strong effort to rally Bernie diehards to Donald Trump.

At this point, unless there is some kind of miracle - Hillary Clinton is going to be the US president starting in 2017.

Granted, there was a 10 point swing in the week before the brexit referendum(with widely variant results):

Still with how terrible the Trump campaign has operated, I doubt he could even use a victory to propel him even if it fell into his lap.
